Check-in at Caesars Palace, our home for the next 4 nights.
20 Dollar trick works, Roman Tower booked, got upgraded to Corner Room in Augustus Tower with nice view:
While Mrs LAG wad resting, I started my session at Caesars Palace:
Poker room is freezing cold and Wifi is not working either. Player pool is ok though, so I stick around. Stopped after the usual 2.5 hours and with a loss of 103 USD.
Next stop Bellagio, which is super cramped as usual. I like the room though and I do not share the voiced opinion on 2+2 that the poker room staff is arrogant. Friendly staff, good service and always good action. Just a little bit too cramped IMO.
Result: 441 USD / 2.5 hours
Off to Harrah's:
No Wifi, possibly the worst cappuccino I've ever had, but the highest ratio of middle aged middle class recreational players per table I've ever seen. Clocked out after 1.5 hours with 111 USD profit in order to get The Quad off my list. I will be back for sure.
Finally The Quad:
To be honest, I associate only bad things with this place. I stayed there on my last trip for a night, since my buddies were on a budget. Caught a super bug there and tried to recover for the next two weeks on our road trip then.
Plus the clientele of that joint is mostly, how should I put it, the caliber of this gentleman here:
The room is situated in a corner and has only 4 tables in total. They only spread one 0.5/1 NL game when I came. A lot of commotion at the table: in the 10 minutes I waited for a seat two players got 86'd. To top it off, the floor clearly hates his life. Not friendly at all, but to be honest, I would get grumpy as well, if I had to work there.
On the plus side: the refurbishment of the casino floor is really well done compared to the old IP. Everything looks modern and clean (in contrast to the crowd). Managed to stay there for 30 minutes and left with 77 profit. Was glad to leave.
And with that, my friends, the list is complete. Here the chips from all places played:
And, of course, here the cash game results up to and including 06/03/2013:
