Great pics and start to the TR!

do you ever fly Virgin Atlantic? They have hot flight attendants, probably the consistently hottest I've ever seen.

Finished previous night session at 01.30am with around 575 USD profit, had a quick bite with a friend at Secret Pizza @ Cosmo after that (quick is relative, line was huge).

Woke up early the morning due to jet lag and decided to join the 1-3 NL at Aria again:

After two and a half hours I clocked out with around 430 USD profit and went to MGM to attend the running 2-5 NL session there, which ended with 125 profit after one hour of play (breakfast time):

To be honest I liked the old location of the MGM poker room way better, but anyway...

Off to Monte Carlo to play 1-2 NL, run good continued (scary), +410 USD after two hours. Nice cosy room, dealing staff very friendly, but a bit slow at times though. Nonetheless I like the place somehow:

After Buffet at Caesars (big fail in the Crepe department IMO, everything else top nodge though), off to Aria again.

First losing session of the trip: dropped 300 USD at 2-5 NL, so I joined the 7pm micro tourney (125 USD buy-in) @ Aria, which I'm still grinding as I write this (10 players left)..

Will provide proper statistics tomorrow.

Was going to suggest this as well... although havent gotten to the end of the thread so maybe you have changed it. Hit the back side of Yosemite "Lee Vining" I think is the town there. You can make a quick run into Yosemite, and also see Mono Lake. then head down and hit Death Valley before cutting back to Vegas.

Super annoyed with myself...

though I made 5th place in the Aria Tournament (whopping net profit of 300 USD):

Reason being for me being upset is that I broke my golden rule: not to play when I'm tired... I stupidly decided that I should jump right into a cash game right after the 9 hour tournament session at 4.00am in the morning... Obviously I played not my A-Game and hence managed to drop two buy-ins at 1-3 NL... I actually feel that I get called down more light when tired somehow... Maybe it' s something about my body language in that stage...

Anyway, here the cash game results up to and including 5/26/2013:

Gotta run, will update/reply later... Thanks for following this thread guys!

+1. As said, I've found her attractive even though she is not my typical peer group (I normally prefer Northern European blondes only).

You are absolutely right, 702guy. Virgin Atlantic is the nuts as far as flight attendants are concerned. Their flight times did not allow me to connect through though, hence I couldn't use them unfortunately...

It's quite easy actually. I use photobucket.com, simply get a free account there and you can upload your pictures from many devices directly to your account.

For posting into 2+2, simply use (=copy) the IMG-Link provided by photobucket for the specific picture and paste this ling into your 2+2 post. Job done. If you need further help let me know.

The day started with a good 1-3 NL session at my homebase (Aria): +460 USD, 2.5 hours played...

Tried to sleep after that, but with no success. I've got real issues getting enough sleep here in Vegas and I only partly blame the jet lag for this. I feel that I have real issues coping with the stuff the pump on the air at Aria's somehow. Hope I can adjust to it at some point...

So I decided to get something to bite at Earl Of Sandwich at Planet Hollywood and head to the PH poker room afterwards:

Even though I ended this session after 3 hours with a loss of 50 USD, I enjoyed that session thoroughly. The poker room has a good location in the casino (plenty of random traffic), plenty of space and most importantly they allow a 10 USD button straddle @ 1-2 NL, which suits my style of play perfectly. Room gets 5* star rating for this in my books.

Next poker room on the to-do list was Bally's:

To be honest, the room has no appeal. Nothing wrong with it, player pool is average, but it's lacking something somehow, it's a dull place IMO.
Staff is very friendly though and the dealers are fast and competent. Session ended after two hours with an interesting hand: 1500 USD pot with a three way all-in on the flop: Hero has OESFD against TPTK and one overpair... Turn + river are blanks obviously... Session loss reached (-600 USD), hence off to Flamingo to check out their poker room...

Unfortunately I didn't even had enough time to make a chipstack-porn pic, since I managed to spew off one buy-in with J3s on the button (straddled button) in the third hand dealt, which I triple barrelled all the way through and got called by TPWK... I should have known that villain was a calling station (elderly and drunk gentleman)... Time to stop playing, since I was playing my C- Game at best...

Suitable pic for Flamingo session (instead of chipstack pic):

Decided to walk back to Aria..

... and to get a slice of pizza at Secret Pizza:

Not the high note I wanted the day to end on, but I'm proud of me that I didn't continue playing (I wasn't tired, but clearly off my A-Game).

Well they're trying to keep you awake so you'll gamble 24/7

my remedy to fight back - get some Nyquil, drink 1/2 a plastic cup full, read a book, magazine, etc. until you are drowsy, get zzzzzzz. Works every time!

I actually use my own quick-and-dirty Excel-Sheet, which I feed during the sessions. There are some good Poker Income Tracker apps in the app stores though.

After another 'monster-session' of sleep (4 hours only again), I started my day again with my usual 1-3 NL morning session at Aria:

In short: Clock in at 5am, clock out at 10am, +697 USD profit. Not too bad. Had a fun 3bet-4bet battle going on during that session with an attractive Indian chick wearing a 'Super Girl' t-shirt... Only bothering part was that she had position on me... Still managed to stack her... ... I love poker chicks who play as laggy as me... It's hot in my books...

Checked emails and 2+2 in my room after that, tried to sleep again, didn't work...

Hence off to the Aria Buffet for which I had a comp ticket from the poker room. Buffet was 'meh', food and ambience was ok, service was super slow though even though the place was maybe 2/3 occupied...

Back to the room after that and finally I was able to get some sleep. Since Friday night I slept only 3 hours on average per night, so I got worried a bit...

I woke up refreshed at 10pm and decided to check out the South strip casinos.

Unfortunately Mandalay Bay is not on the Bravo Poker App (I highly recommend this app to anyone who is visiting Vegas btw), so I had to call in to see what is going on. Two games 1-2 NL were running at that point. I asked to put my name on the waiting list.

As I arrived they just started a new table which I was able to join immediately. The room has 10 tables in total, professional staff and good dealers. The player pool was very soft, I guess due to the location on the strip. So to sum up a good place to play.

Mandalay Bay session result: Clocked out after 2.5 hours with 582 USD profit.

Next stop Luxor:

Got seated after 20 minutes on the waiting list, table a mixture of old tourists and young Euro guys who are obviously here for the series. Drunk guy to my immediate right. I know most of you like playing with drunks in terms of EV, but that guy slowed down the game so much, it was starting to tilt me big time. It was a nice fellow though.

Only two hands worth mentioning in the two hour session I clocked there:

1) Two way all-in for full buy-ins, hero has top two pair, villain has a flush draw and hits it on the river. Pretty standard.

2) Elderly tourist (playing 300 USD) raises to 10 USD UTG+2, drunk guy (100 USD) calls, hero (320 USD) wakes up with KK on the button and repops it to 40 USD, elderly tourist grabs with two hands two fistful of chips from his stack and slams it in the middle, drunk guy folds... Dealer counts 164 USD to call... Hero tries getting info from villain. Villain visibly excited, shaking and quite talkative... Hero open folds KK...villains shows JJ... I normally never fold KK in low limit NL, but this time I was absolutely sure he had the nuts... Well at least I was able to produce some laughter at the table...

Started to tilt, hence left shortly after: session result -303 USD, 2 hours played..

Excalibur is next on the list. When I arrive it's 4.45am and only one 1-2 NL table is still running.

I join and stay until the table breaks three hours later... Result: -419 USD... Variance was not my friend in that session... Can't say anything about the regular player pool there due to time of the day. Room is nothing spectacular but has friendly staff and good dealers.

Back to my home base. Not tired, hence Aria 1-3 NL it is again. Clock says 08.00am and...

... I enter poker god mode... I call down pot size river bets with Ace high and I am good, I value bet mid pairs, I induce shoves against me holding the nuts, I overbet pot on the river with the nuts and get called and so on... And flopping the nuts does help sometimes as well ...

...Don't you love this feeling when all your reads are spot on and when you exploit each opponent to the maximum? I think it's the ultimate rush in poker when you are completely 'in the zone' so to speak...

... And on that high note I stopped playing after 5 hours with a whopping profit of 1407 USD...

Time to get some sleep...
