A few days ago went to Bailiwick at the Orleans and have only good things to say about it.

Great drinks, delicious upscale bar food and LIVE music.

I wasn't expecting such a good place at the Orleans..sort of a diamond in the rough..

Don't have much more to add. There aren't really great places for any of those tbh.

Been there, I was super hopeful but it suffers from old people casino weakness of everything being underseasoned. They basically didn't use a pinch of salt in anything. They also took 0 risks with the menu and just made a bunch of stuff that's 100% going to sell well without executing it perfectly. That's not a place that gets my business.

LV isn't a great place for ribs or wings. However they seem to have some awesome breakfast spots. I'm a breakfast guy, living in Houston I think the breakfast options blow. However I think LV has some awesome breakfast spots.

Come on Jimmy I know you're a night owl but you must have some good breakfast spots.

I have never been a big breakfast fan. The most iconic breakfast items we have are literally cake, bacon, and scrambled eggs. Unless you want to spend like $80+ on breakfast, that's pretty much all you're gonna get. Brunch has some more interesting places which I've recommended before, but breakfast itself is just meh. For brunch, go to DW Bistro.

Apparently you haven't had the ribs at Jessie Rae's. X2 on DW Bistro

Sorry not sure why I threw in the comment about BBQ and wings. Maybe because I'm from Buffalo and live in Texas. Buffalo has good wings, Texas has good BBQ but Texas is clueless about breakfast. Vegas does breakfast right and a must for me while in town.

My new favorite breakfast spot is Egg and I (Egg Works). The Fiesta skillet is so nice.

I went to the Brisket House in Houston a couple of weeks ago, really liked that place. Also showed me that Kansas City is not the only larger metropolitan area where good BBQ can be really cheap. Based on past experience and checking several other menus, BBQ in LV is a step below that for double the money.

What are the good breakfast (not brunch) options in Vegas in your opinion? From the top of my head I can't come up with any.

My favorite breakfast was the bacon and potato burrito at Felipitos on Tropicana.
If you want upscale, try Bouchon.

Need to try Bouchon. My breakfast tastes are basic, pancakes and a huge fan of corned beef hash, which isn't very popular in Texas. Dupars at the Golden Gate was a great option for both, need to find a new spot.

Sort of my opinion of LV BBQ, better can be found elsewhere and cheaper, including my hometown.

Thanks for mentioning brisket house need to check this out, beef ribs look legit. Been meaning to try the beef ribs at Killeen's but Brisket House seems like a nice alternative.

For the wife and I it's Eat in downtown Vegas (at 7th and Carson). Shrimp & grits are my go to item.

Well, I enjoyed it, and the food seems to be getting consistently 4-4 1/2 stars on Yelp.

The jumbo pretzel with the beer cheese dipping sauce is fantastic..best Ive ever had..

Sporting Life has the same things (including the giant pretzel) and is better in every respect tbh. You should try it.

For breakfast I love some hash house a go go. I always go when people are visiting and always say "why don't I go here more often?"

Also good: the cracked egg, omelet house

Also good breakfast option downtown is MTO Cafe. There is also a MTO in downtown Summerlin.

You dissed bacon?!? I'm not a breakfast person either, but eggs benedict is good.

If anyone qualified* can find good corned beef hash locally, I will give 10 BTM2 points.

*if you aren't from the northeast or Midwest, you aren't qualified. If you think that Egg & I (or its sister establishments) make corned beef hash at all then you aren't qualified.

Corned beef is never shredded for hash. It is either minced or cubed.

What they serve isn't corned beef hash. It is a beef pot roast with potatoes. Perfectly fine if you are in the mood for that sort of thing for breakfast.
