It wasn't one of the best compliments ever. I can think of plenty of better compliments. None of them apply to restaurant review sites, so it was definitely a well-placed compliment. Maybe best-in-class as far as compliments go. As far as compliments on restaurant reviews it is definitely in the top ten all time.

Yeah, Jimmy, your reviews are really fun to read and are helpful. I guess it is encouraging for you to see someone say that, but it seems creepy for me to keep telling you, so I'll maybe send a well-deserved compliment once every few months.

Oh, and you should talk to the fine folk at the Review Journal. I used to write for a newspaper, and you are better than most journalists at journaling and since you seem to enjoy writing, it would be cool for you to have editors helping you develop.*

That's a damn fine compliment as well. I have been pokering a ton recently and I don't know where I'm going to take the website in the future but I would like to see it turn into something, so we will see.

MOMOFUKU!!! Nice review, I'm dying to try that place. Its my favorite cookbook as well. I make his fried brussel sprouts all the time & keep a big batch of the pre made vinaigrette in the fridge so its ready when I get the urge.

Give us a review of the Impossible Burger* if you get the chance. It just debuted in Vegas. Its not available in Dallas yet and I'm curious to see how it tastes.

Chada Street is thai street food and the newer of the two. I prefer the original which is just Chada Thai & Wine.

Chada Street is basically no different than an average Thai restaurant in an average big city (so, essentially every Thai restaurant in LA). Chada T&W is on another level entirely.
