Donk, if you like the mixed up games, the Orleans is running a series this summer with lots of them. Their dailies feature them too.

Thanks for that pig4bill. I’ve never actually played at the Orleans but potentially gonna head out there on Sunday.

Enjoying this TR dunc.

Going back to the AA hand I'm thinking 88-TT with heart.. I can't see him flatting multiway PF with JJ+ I think you saying what you did to your brother definitely had an impact on his play.

More pics please! GL at the tables

Im ready to get to Vegas on Saturday to start to add to this TR I will get there the evening of the 9th and leave for home on the 15th....trip will include poker, golf, drinking, pai gow and dice. #pics
I look forward to hanging out with my buddy Dunc who has started off this TR fabulously. Because of other obligations and things going on, I'm only able to spend a week this year.

Poker wise:
Sat- not sure yet
Sun- Orleans Horse tourney

Mon- Rio 1p daily and if I bust out go over to the Golden Nugget with dunc and play the tag team event

Tues- Rio 1p daily or the PH triple draw

Wed- Golf and hang out with my best friend Mike who lives in Vegas

Thursday- most likely cash games and Dunc and I will probably hit craftsteak for dinner

Friday- sadly head for home

Brian

Present and accounted for.

In the great bell curve that is 2+2, you two are far to the right on the curve. Thanks for the report!

Very nice dinner. Did you just have appetizers and dessert or did you just skip pics of the other courses?

I forgot to take pics of our main courses.
I had suckling pig and my brother had beef cheeks.

In terms of volume, we didn’t have the degustation, but instead a fixed price a la carte - two entrees, one main, one dessert, plus amuse-bouche and mignardises.

After indulging ourselves at Joel Robuchon last night, I made my contribution to the profitability of TI, Mirage and Aria via blackjack whilst my brother continued his onslaught on Aria’s bottom line. I’m sure Aria will be glad to see him go and good news for them (but bad news for me) is that he leaves this evening.

Whilst he is trying to stuff excess shopping into insufficient luggage space, I’m killing a little time at the Aria poker room. Plan today is just a little bit of aimless meandering of the Vegas strip before seeing him off.

Watbri joins the fray tomorrow and poker will then dominate the rest of the trip. I’m sure there’ll be a little dice and certainly some more pai gow, but poker, both tournaments and cash, is the focus.

Safe travels Donk Dunc’s bro - has been fantastic to see you I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it.

Safe trip for tomorrow Watbri. The dice have been cold so far so I need you to start throwing some points!

Crazy guy joins the table and works his way through 3 buy-ins in the first half an hour, 3betting everything, cbetting 2x pot, bluffing everything when checked to etc.

The scene is set...

Player 1 opens for $10. Crazy villain makes it $30, one player calls and I look down at AKdd. I make it $110 and B.B. then shoves for $257. Original opener folds (what he later claimed was QQ), crazy guy shoves for $275 and I obviously make the call for another $165 into a $680.

BB picked the perfect time to wake up with aces and I won the small side pot against crazy guys 10 8 off suit. Yep, he shoved 92 BBs over a 4 bet and a cold 5 bet with 10 8 off suit and zero fold equity

Early position player, who on the hand before had been sucked out on in a $700 pot, opens for $12 and gets 5 callers before it gets to me in the SB. I have 45cc and figure it might be a good spot to squeeze, so make it $65. Both the pre-flop raiser and the first caller call and I’m now not putting anything in this pot unless I get a dream flop.

The flop is far from ideal. It’s AAJ with no clubs and I’m now done with the hand. I check, but both other players also check. Turn is a 6 and I’m still not putting any more chips in this pot. They both check behind.

River is a 7 and I’m now thinking neither of them has an ace, and probably not a jack and if I had an ace or AK, I might also check flop and turn. So, no need to bluff too big - I can make this look like a value bet, and it’s gonna be hard for a hand like 88 or 99 to call me and KQ will fold straight away. My stab of $70 got two folds.

Sometimes you just get given chips I guess.

Just whiffed a draw in a $1.1k pot against a mate here. At least the money went to a good home.
