That reminded me of an embarrassing situation when I was a kid and somebody told me they never had seen snow. I asked why they weren’t going on family skiing trips which made his and my parents visibly uncomfortable and led to an extended talk at home later.

Especially in parts of the country where snow is very rare, people easily overestimate the amount. I think official numbers for LV range from 1 to 1.5 inches, depending on the part of town?
