Hello all! Been a long time 2+2 lurker for over 10 years. Was inspired by the "Am I a loser for going to Vegas alone" thread to do a solo trip this weekend. Got a new job and a raise, but no one available to go so I'm going alone! Love playing tourneys and will be hitting up the August Extravaganza at the Venetian. Also want to hit the Bellagio for cash games and whatever else sounds fun. I hate the term but I'm a "foodie" so I'll be eating $$$$ every dinner, trying to hit Michael Mina, Twist, CUT and or CarneVino. Also am a little bit of a blackjack hound but we'll see how the bankroll feels.

Leaving tomorrow! I always watch Casino and Vegas Vacation before I hit Vegas, so I'm doing that now, while drinking a gin and raspberry shrub. Stoked!

I'm not exactly sure on the mathematics of blackjack variation, but I'm 99% sure that watching Casino and VV increases your odds of winning on this trip.

The pool crew is a little off. 3 different people have come by to tell me it's a reserved spot and I have to keep pulling out my phone to show them my card was charged for a private chair... Finally a kind cocktail waitress brought me a free vodka 7up for the hassle... Already winning
