Anyone sign up for the season ticket list and put down the refundable $100 deposit? I want to do this and feel like season tickets would be profitable to resell for the first year at least but am concerned about all this talk about having to buy a PSL which could make it unprofitable.

Any thoughts? How much has a PSL historically cost for other NFL teams? Is it a one off payment?

Keep in mind that if you sell your tickets and the buyers cause an incident you will lose your remaining season tickets without refund, and can never buy them again. Given how drunk and rowdy fans get at these games it may not be worth it, but that's up to you to gauge, this is just an FYI. The only way you'd be off the hook is if you used the team's ticket exchange site, but then of course you can't sell for more than face.

It's probably worth the risk. The Raiduhs are used to rowdy fans, Black Hole and all that jazz. Vegas visitors are probably going to be a lot better behaved than their usual home fans.

I can't remember if all season ticket holders were require to buy a PSL or not, I just remember a lot of complaining about them. Did they release prices yet? The prices for the Santa Clara stadium are ridiculous.

Remember, you will probably have to buy at least two seats to make them resellable, probably three.

Cost of the PSL depends on the value of the seat. Prices might start at $500 (that's the cheapest one at the new Falcons stadium), good seats might be in the $1500-$5000k range?

FWIW, you can resell the PSL if you don't want to buy season tickets anymore. If you don't buy tickets and don't sell the license, the team gets it back for free.

Do you remember how the PSL's were? I seem to remember somewhere between $5k and $10k for middle-of-the-road seats. And that in the worst stadium in the NFL.

I buy saints tickets all the time off the official nfl ticket exchange and its always more than face value. Sometimes I'll see the best seats listed on there for 10-20x face value. So I'm not sure what the legality of it is or why it's allowed.

This is awesome! They really have an opportunity to do this right and have one of the best locations for an NFL stadium within a city. Pittsburgh is great for having it right in the city and Nashville too and Seattle is pretty close to the city center but teams like the Cardinals, Giants/Jets, and Patriots are out in the middle of no where!

Having it within walking distance of the south strip (if they build that pedestrian bridge) would be awesome. Also, Vegas will give new definition to tailgating by doing it with pregame parties in casinos. Plus viewing parties in casinos for games would be awesome.

This would be like adding 8 conventions a year to the Vegas schedule. Mandalay Bay, Luxor, and Excalibur will make a fortune on rooms and those smaller hotels just south of the proposed site on Dean Martin will definitely rake in the money.

My concern would be the traffic on Dean Martin during construction. There was enough closures as they are building more small hotels on Dean Martin behind the Cosmo/Aria but this would kill Dean Martin south of Tropicana for about 2 years plus on game weekends.

I have my name on the $100 reservation list and am hoping for some reasonable PSL prices for the lower level seats if there are still available.

The sad thing is that I'm sure that whoever is in charge will just hire friends and this construction and planning will get botched in a major way and the traffic will be horrible and the stadium will have issues. Las Vegas construction (both single family homes, apartment complexes, and even that building that had to be dismantled by the Cosmo) is horrible so this stadium will be delayed for sure!

That assumes the game is sold out, otherwise the NFL blacks out local tv. Many years the Raiduh games were not on local tv unless the tv station bought all the tickets and gave them away. I lived in the Bay area for a long time, and since I didn't like the local teams, I was happy to see games from around the country. Hopefully the new stadium is really small.

I don't think you understand that we're not getting an expansion team like we did with the Golden Knights. The Raiders are actually good right now and when a team is good, their games sell out like crazy.

Last year, there was no waiting list for Raiders season tickets in Oakland but this year you are looking at a 15,000 person waitlist for season tickets in Oakland. And this doesn't guarantee you any season tickets in Las Vegas once they move.

The Raiders are between 8-1 and 12-1 to win the Super Bowl this year so their games will sell out no problem. You will have Vegas locals going to games, plus the Oakland crew flying in from California, people from LA coming in if the Raiders outplay the Rams and Chargers (which they are right now), plus every week you'll have the opponent's fans coming in. The Broncos games will have a ton of Denver fans and Chargers fans will drive in too so 2 games are a lock to sell out and then some.

Plus, the appeal of football in the US mixed with the opportunity to bet on the games legally in a casino less than 1/2 a mile away will draw a bunch of people coming for a football weekend like people come for the Super Bowl. The Super Bowl is one of the busiest weekends in Vegas and this will have many parallels to that 8 times a year. (Obviously not as big as the Super Bowl but a quarter of that traffic is enough to make Vegas very happy.)

Eh, maybe. I don't see it though. And you still have the same management to screw it up in coming years. Just because they got lucky with a 2nd or 3rd tier quarterback doesn't mean they know what they're doing.

Does it really matter if they are good "right now"? Having Derek Carr signed to that 5 year extension is huge but that doesn't mean they'll still compete for the division title or even a wildcard spot in 3 or 4 years. Especially if Denver and KC keep being relevant.

They have a top 5 QB in the league, a great stable of RBs, a great receiver. They'll be fine for a long time

In the last couple decades, the few times they've had consistently good players, it hasn't been for more than 2 or 3 years at best. They won't be "fine for a long time".

Current success doesn't guarantee future success. That is for sure. But I rather have them be a good team now right before the move rather than a bad team right before the move. The Rams are horrible, they moved to LA, and they are still horrible.

I think the Raiders have a better shot than the Rams. It is possible management may screw it up but they are starting off the transition with a good team so I like their odds in their first few years in Vegas as of right now.

Much better than where the Golden Knights are starting off. They will be bad for years plus hockey's fanbase isn't a fraction of the NFL's in the US.
