Yeah I know, I can always just hook it up to the hotel room for $15 a day just to check my e-mail for 15 minutes...but I was wondering if there was any alternative to that.

Clark County Libraries have free internet. They have on demand computers with a 15-minute time limit, and 1-hour and two-hour computers on a reservation system. Not sure if they have free wi-fi or not.

Starbucks may have free wi-fi.

Hotels with extensive business/convention areas often have free wifi set up for the conventioneers. I used the journalists wifi at the Rio during the WSOP.

Experiment until you find a free hot spot.

Get an air card. They're not that expensive.
