Thank you for the kind words buddies!

I have a small hangover but luckily I know I great cure for that. :greyhound:

I went to Bally's breakfast buffet which was a mistake. So much grease and sugar, so gross. I love American food but not breakfast, I mean four kinds of donuts? I think it should be yogurt and berries, good bread and quality cold cuts, salmon etc. Of course some bacon & eggs too for the hangover. I'm sure you have these places too but Bally's was not one of them.

Now I will go to Paris' pool getting ready for some shopping. I hate shopping but I promised to do some. I have very specific instructions so can't blew this one, come on!

Later I will try to find some PLO finally. I have been too lazy poker wise so need to change that.

PS. Huge congratz to my friend Jori Lehterä on making his first hat trick of his NHL career! What a beast!

Ew. Ballys breakfast buffet.... for the same price I prefer to go to Hash House a Go Go.

I eat heavy there, but I know they have some lighter options like oatmeal and fruit.

Go over the road to the Wicked Spoon at the Cosmo. Breakfast of Champions. Second floor (or possibly first, depending if you have a ground floor), all the way to the back.

^ Thanks guys. Will try those out!

I finished this book of a Swedish God. Excellent read, highly recommend it to every football (soccer) fan.

Bad day at euro stock market. Shouldn't even check those when on holiday.

I finally found a PLO table and it wasn't good at all. Bunch of regs playing a little bit too loose-passive preflop but pretty good postflop. There's not much value in a table like that. I think couple of these players could even play winning poker at Casino Helsinki which probably has the toughest PLO games in the world.

I lost two buy ins (1k) and left the table. Got stacked twice set over set. I think I should have folded the second one but the first one was a standard cooler.

I don't think I will play a lot of PLO during the next two weeks. NLHE tables are just too good and low variance.

Zlatan's the best... says someone living in Paris (where Zlatan Ibrahimovic is playing right now, at the "Paris Saint Germain" soccer club). I'm even born in a small city close to Paris named Saint Germain en Laye - which is the "Saint Germain" in Paris Saint Germain... This said, the guy is a great soccer player, probably one of the top five in the world + a very interesting guy, with a real personality.

Do you know in France we've even kinda created a verb from Ibra - at least some comedians and TV hosts have. Instead of saying "I'm going to kick this guy's ass", you say "I'm going to zlatan this guy". Or instead of "They've kicked our ass", you can try "they've zlataned us"...
("Je vais zlataner ce type" ou "Ils nous ont zlatanés")

Good read so far.

A word about the sleep thing: I've been to Vegas around a dozen times and can only remember one deep, long sleep (which meant I failed to register for the half marathon in December a couple of years ago !!)

Usually I like a good 8hrs but eventually learned that is just not happening, although I would sometimes just lie in bed watching re-runs of Law and Order or whatever if I woke up early.

With games running 24hrs, my advice is to just sleep as much as you can when you're tired (obviously) and don't feel you have to sit for hours in a good game when tired.

PS - You must be an Omaha fish if you can't fold small sets

Didn't know that but it makes perfect sense. He's le bad ass!

R*R, thanks man. I will give PLO another shot but it's kind of what I expected. So few PLO players here so everyone's kind of solid. Anyway it's not a real problem, I play PLO for living and I'm on holiday now so lower variance NLHE fits me well. Also I play here mostly drunk poker and that PLO game plays pretty big and I can't afford to wake up realizing I have lost 5k or something because I don't have that kind of roll with me.

mackem790, thank you. That's what I have mostly done, sleep when your tired and don't care about the clock. Now I think I'm on pretty good sleeping schedule but holy shoot what a weird thing happened last night. Yesterday evening I bought this e-cig thing and took a couple of puffs before going to sleep. Now, I'm not big smoker but I smoke weed from Volcano so I'm used to vaping. Anyway I woke up at night having this asthma attack kind of situation which was kind of scary. I had asthma when I was a kid and it was just like that. I went to hot shower and after 10 mins my breathing was normal again. What the hell was that, not gonna puff that evil robot cig again!

I'm not sure what I'm going to do today. Probably play poker if nothing else. If someone has a good idea what to do by myself or if someone wants to hang out I'm open for suggestions!

^ Carbonara is from Paris hotel's Martorano's.

Yes, Netherlands is Central Europe. Finland is Northern Europe but not part of Scandinavia even though even many Finns think it is.

I stay another week at Bally's because it's alright and they comped me 4 nights.

I haven't actually put any thought to this subject, it's just a funny phrase I stole from the great Phil Hellmuth. But now I checked from Wikipedia and no, Netherlands is not part of NE but United Kingdom is. I would have never thought UK is part of Northern Europe. I used Northern Europe as in Nordic Countries as I think PH meant it.

I had to bought a faster wi-fi to be able to watch Hungary-Finland Euro qualifier. 10 mins to go and still 0-0. Not a very good game at all. Come on guys!

Also, FU Blackballed

FML, Hungary scored.
