in jew's thread, you said you were leaving PH forever and never going back. just curious for my own mental approach to the game if you really meant this.

my 'home' casino is 15 minutes from my house. there are others about 30-40 minutes away. then i have Atlantic City about 1.5 hours away.

my 'home' casino is easily the worst of them all when it comes to my win rate. since i started logging on session logger, i am actually down there. it makes me not want to play there and take the extra drive. obviously, if you have this mentality in Vegas, it's so much easier to avoid a place where you have bad karma, but as a guy trying to make a living, you do know you are just running bad at PH and if you play your game the way you know how, you will eventually turn things around as long as you go in with a positive attitude.

Oh for sure I know it's just short term variance but f it. Great game everywhere, I don't need to play somewhere I lose at even if it's silly Mental thing.. :-)

There are staking threads in the marketplace forums. Much easier to sell yourself in tournaments though.

Played the 10pm deepstack at rio.. Was short got it all in 3 way with ak vs qj vs 58 for a 8k pot at 150 300.. Flop aq8 turn 3 river q obv

Played jew hu plo. Got it in on the turn as a 60-40 ran it twice he blinked both. Pretty standard spot. Still sick to lose both runs

Don't be gambling against Jew. You both play poker for different reasons. You play to support your family, he plays for fun/extra spending cash. Don't become Jew and degen all your money playing HU lol

But on that note, have you found it hard staying focused on playing for a living with your friends down? Like are you tempted to degen it up at roulette/blackjack with them?
