When I returned from the last trip, I was more serious than I had ever been about actually moving to Vegas. I really didn't need to go back that year, but I wasn't far from reaching 7 star level, needed one more trip to do so. I had planned to play it smart this trip, calm and steady, get the tier credits I needed without losing a ton. This is the first pic from that trip so looks like those plans went to crap pretty swiftly
Doesn't look like much at a glance but it was around $3,300 and I doubled it down.
No more pics in my phone from that hand so I'm almost certain it lost. I remember losing a good amount that trip overall. Judging by this pic of me playing "Crack Jack" for max bet I can see why
Everyone at home always thought I went to Vegas so often to "feed the beast" or whatever. That stopped being the case a long time ago (even though I still acted a fool) People would say go somewhere else, go on a cruise or something different... but my primary reason for going to Vegas was to be around all the great friends I had made through the years. I would miss them and that's really what had me going so much. I wish I could have gone and not gambled, devoted more time and energy to just hanging out... but I'm too dumb to do that Going through my phone just now, I deleted a ton of food porn, chip porn, big black jack hands and all that mess. In hindsight I could care less about all that. The true good times were with all those great folks out there that not only had "The Mickey Mouse effect" on me, but were really great, exceptional, genuine people. Through all these trips, many years of em... Overall I lost a ton of money... but as far as making friends I will always hold dear to my heart... (I know this is corny) I certainly hit the jackpot
Those were pics from just one trip. Obviously, the majority of the folks I know work at Planet Hollywood. Kind of crazy that I made many wonderful, lifelong friends because that was the one poker room that tolerated my drunken behavior, didn't kick me out... true story
The guy in the next pic is something else. To say they broke the mold with him is an understatement. One of the funniest people I have ever met and a character to say the least. They'll be several stories down the road with him
I'll refer to him as B.... B was a self admitted keno addict. I jokingly call myself a degen but one thing I've never done is borrow money to gamble... this guy did it daily lol. He hit a keno jackpot for a few grand once and always thought he was gonna hit it big again. He played every and I mean every day when he got off work.
The night he hit the jackpot he said he went straight to the boobie bar, purchased some party favors from a guy with one hand, one arm or something like that. He made him go to the bathroom with him to test the goods and determined it was crap. A brawl ensued inside the stall and quite the commotion with security and all piling in the bathroom. Not that much of an abnormal night for B
While I'm addied up I might as well tell a story from the trip earlier that year during the BBoys final concert weekend.
I had never done a drug of any kind til I smoked marijuana in 2018, didn't like it and never tried any other non-prescription drug. I was hanging in my friend's suite one night and a friend of his (who has a well known father with mob ties) had some powder (by powder I mean powdered sugar of course "If I did it") lined up on the table that I had walked in on. He said here, have some. I said no thanks. He said you've never had any this good, try it. I said I've never done it before, wanted to keep my powder virginity. He said well, after you've seen me doing it you're losing that virginity here with me. He was kinda intimidating so I said screw it and snorted. It took about 8-12 seconds and I was like holy friggin moly. I had watched Narcos and other shows, always wondered why people would go through so much trouble, risk so much, pay so much just for something that made you feel good for a little while... right then I understood haha. It was just unbelievable.
Earlier I had received this text.... disclaimer... never saw KJ that day or night, he had nothing to do with any of it
My friends played very big at times so we went to high limit in PH to play B jack. I saw a lot of employees I knew there and I'm a talker anyways... but on that stuff, I just wouldn't shut up. I'm honest/transparent to a fault and told everyone what I had done. The mob guy kept telling me to calm down and shut up... to no avail. Criss Angel was sitting at the table next to us, directly behind me just a few inches away. He was with a young girl, table was marked reserved and he was playing only 5 bucks a hand (smart guy) I asked him where KJ was. He said his family had come into town unexpectedly or something. We got into a big hand at my table and needed the dealer to bust bad. I was really hopped up on that powdered sugar... I stood up and smacked Criss on the shoulder pretty hard. I yelled... you're supposed to be a magician well make the dealer bust dadgummit! He stood up and watched as the dealer busted and said there you go. He was very laid back, cool guy. That powder was just was something else. We went back to the room several times that night to do more. I wanted it so bad, I felt like that frog creature from Lord of the Rings "My Precious" it was just too good and I vowed not to do that mess again from fear of getting hooked. I've seen a lot of lives affected badly by that mess and I don't recommend trying it even once from fear of getting hooked. Coming down from it really sucks sh** too
I overly worry what my influence may have on strangers or anyone else so I can't stress this enough
Not much abnormal craziness from that trip, but always had a good time hanging out. None of the guys in this pic had ever met each other, just knew me. We randomly wandered to Aria high limit and other places. What a night with that diverse crowd of characters. Only in Vegas...
I did reach 7 star that trip. I was solicited hard from friends to give em the companion card with some decent cash offers, but ended up giving it to a guy for free that it meant the world to. He worked at PH and spent more time hanging out there than he did working. He would often loudly boast that he was diamond and demanded (jokingly...somewhat) exceptional service. He was a teddy bear of a guy that all his coworkers loved but the bartenders sure gave me he** about giving him that card/boasting privileges. He used the words "Mu Fuka" as an adjective, noun, verb, pronoun, adverb, conjunction, preposition... any way he at all could... he used the term "Mu Fuka"... He screamed "I'm 7 star in this mu fuka nonstop after that. Toting and flashing that card around, he looked happier than a bird with a french fry

Not a whole lot this update, I'm just trying to stay in the groove to finally catch up to March of 2020. If my writing can do that period of time any justice at all, it will be the best stories I've written... meanwhile I have to write the boring buildup so bear with me. I'm gonna try my best to be as steady as I can with the updates, promise.
