Have stayed at Signature a few times. Ticks all the boxes but would like to try a different hotel for my trip next month.

I can see Vdara but looks like they may charge extra for the pots/pans etc (**** paying for that).

Any other of the high end hotels have kitchenettes? Any reviews?

Bonus points for a balcony

Thanks

Just need to request cooking gear, no charge. No balcony.

Palms place has a kitchen too.

Funny, I've stayed at Vdara a couple times and noticed there were no pots or pans in the cupboards..I didn't even think about it since we didn't do any cooking. Dumb that they charge extra for that with all the other surcharges and the pricey resort fee there.

I'm not sure, but you may want to see if the Delano @ Mandalay Bay has kitchenettes?

From my experience, Signature, Vdara, and The Delano all have similar amenities..

They don't.

You just call housekeeping and they'll bring you more kitchenware than you ever dreamed you needed. You can specify exactly what you need. They'll also come and take your trash away, if you ask. Some people think its nice to tip the delivery staff.

Same goes for robes, complementary slippers, extra towels and sheets, soap, shampoo, and lotion, loo roll, etc. No charge.

The Vdara is a 4 star resort, for crying out loud

It was Westgate (?) when I stayed there a couple of times a few years back. It might be Elara now. Whatever it's being called now the hotel connected to The Miracle Mile and Planet Hollywood has kitchenettes and is easily accessible from the parking garage. You have to walk a mile to get to a casino though. Rooms were great.

I think Vdara is the winner gents. 100$ a night over Christmas ...

Balcony probably less important in winter compared to summer

Well, that's good to hear they don't charge for pots and pan usage.

I'm used to paying $7 for a bottle of water at the Aria and Vdara giftshops/grab and go's, so it didn't really surprise me that there would be a charge..

That's when we stay there..the last couple weeks of the year after the Rodeo, before New Years.

Vdara @ $100/night and Aria @ $120/night, plus resort fees, are definitely worth it..

I assume the walk to nearest casino is a lot shorter than Signature (Furthest tower) to MGM?

You can either go out the front of Vdara and walk around the circle to Aria, or take the tram for one stop in the back and coming down those stairs will land you right next to the poker room.

Also short walk to Bellagio and a bit farther to poker room from Vdara elevators.

Tram also goes to Crystals which is a nice place to walk through en route to Cosmo or PHo.

Significantly shorter. The MGM is HUGE. The Aria is not.

None of those endless walkways going from Vdara to Aria, that you have going from Signature to MGM.

I'd estimate a walk from Signature to the MGM Poker Room is approx. 12-15 minutes. From Vdara to the Aria Poker room, maybe 5-7 minutes..
