Im assuming nothing wrong with it but not worth the price of what Caesers charges for it.

I have never stayed at Caesars in Vegas (stayed in Atlantic city, and rooms were nothing special) however, I have read on these forums that it is the lowest of the high end casino/hotels (compared to Wynn, Aria, Bellagio, and Venetian).

However, at $155 per night, final price including taxes and resort fees; that is an excellent price.

I would stay there too if I were you.

Sorry to jump in.

Anybody know if people staying in the Cromwell have access to other pools for free?

Cheers

I guess that's an ok price? But Caesars is a pretty marginal property for what they charge. Your money- no matter how much of it you spend- goes farther at other places.

And there aren't any bank holidays in June in the US.

Its weird that since CET considers CET and Cromwell their top two properties and charge in line with Say, Bellagio and Aria. Youre just not going to get the same experience at a CET prop that youd get at WynnCore, Sands, or MLife. Caesar's being the crown jewel of CET is laughable.

Sure if you drop Caesars Palace in the middle of Omaha, it would be one of the nicer hotels, but on the Vegas Strip it just feels so run down.

Ive always assumed that they charge a lot based on location, history, and maybe the fact that the place has been in a bunch of movies. The hotel is ****

Cromwell is completely unnecessary, I have no idea why they invested the time/money into it. I miss Bill's.

I like Cromwell but the rooms I saw were all 3 feet away from a window. Like your view out of the room is just a wall. So dark in there it was insane. Maybe great if youre a sleep all day type, but I get comps everywhere in CET and they still try to charge me for Nobu and Cromwell. Like... no. Id rather stay at any CET prop than Cromwell I think

That's basically it. Picture their main customer base as old guys who drive Cadillacs, wear pinky rings and would rather have a steak at Morton's than anywhere else. These are the guys who have been staying at Caesars for 40 years and it's just fine to them. They knew the cocktail waitresses there back when they were hot.

While we're on the subject of CET hotels, I was very pleasantly surprised by Harrah's (one of the easiest CET comps) and was unpleasantly surprised by the Flamingo.

Harrah's: Large comfy room with windows that open. Convenient to V, White Castle, Outback, Caesars, Sephora. Impressive food court at bottom of elevator. Poolside bar with frozen drinks. 24H room service.

Flamingo: Meh food court. Meh restaurants. Meh gambling. Very limited room service menu and hours. No chairs in room (!). Only plus is good shower pressure.

Coulda swore the food courts were very similar. Both had a Johnny Rockets, pizza place and Chinese.

I wonder if you've recently visited Harrah's. The food court is called the Fulton St. Food Hall, it features sushi, deli sandwiches, Chinese, and other things; and did not AFAIK have a Johnny Rockets nor a pizzeria.

Im an idiot lol, mixed up Harrahs with Ballys. Ballys and Flamingo are essentially the same food court.

I remember Fulton St now. Never been though.

The lure of selling $20 bottles of vodka for $500 was very strong.

Westgate still considered decent? Found some older reviews ITT, but you know, things change fast.

Friend has a timeshare there and used it twice in 6 months. Once in September last year, rooms are small, decor was updated and nice. Far away from all the stuff we do tho.
Second time in January this year, must of been different tower and holy outdated room!

Thanks, man.

Desert Rose over Westgate all day long? They are similarly priced for my trip, one week stay.

Hey okey!
So me and 3 friends are going to Vegas in may and we booked a city corner suite and a regular suite and asked them to be adjoining.

We also emailed Vdara and asked if it was possible to arrange that but they replied saying that its a question for when we check in and that they cant promise anything in advance.

So I guess its just a question about tip (and if adjoining rooms are available ofc).

But how much should we tip when we check in? Do you think that if we slip a 100$-bill when we check in that things could be arranged. Just like when you do the 20 dollar trick and "ask" for an upgrade. In this case we dont really want an upgrade, just adjoining rooms.

Or how should we proceed? We're staying for 10 days if it matters.

No tip necessary just ask at checkin they'll do what they can.

One of the biggest problems with LV hotels generally is they don't guarantee room types or bed types. Try booking a nonsmoking king bed and you'll get it maybe 50% of the time if that.

Bitch about it and ask to speak to a supervisor and they might put you in a Handicapped king room with one of those handheld showers.

Read the thread in this forum related to the $20 trick. The general consensus is that it's $20 for a reason and $100 isn't necessary or advised. I'd ask really nicely and if you don't mind tipping $20 it can't hurt but it might or might not help.

Hm, okey... So 20$ should be enough then? I mean we don't mind tipping 100$ but if 20$ going to give us the same thing as 100$ why spew extra 80$ hehe.

Thanks, hopefully it can be arranged.
