What's wrong with TI's pool? I thought the scene was nice, decent music, hot servers, available loungers...

I'm an old fart. We usually rent a cabana for the day at the B or the Wynn. TI doesn't really have anything to compare. I agree that the TI pool isn't awful and I was overly harsh - it's REALLY small compared to most other strip properties. On the weekends it gets jammed pretty quick.

We just got back from TI and spent a little time at the poolside bar - bartender was attentive, poured a good (strong) drink. Everyone seemed nice, and the customers were having a good time. You could do worse.

Thanks for the report. I've rarely stayed there during pool season, I'm normally there during the winter or early spring.

I hate to always be defending TI on this forum but I feel like it gets a bad rap that it doesn't usually deserve. Yes the gaming floor isn't anywhere near as nice or big as the V, B or Wynn, nor does it have the fancy restaurants that they do. But it also costs a LOT less on most weeks and the property is clean, rooms are nice, the view is great, location is good and the restaurants are very good for what they are. It's a nice "upper middle class" option of the Strip hotels. (I'm talking about the property class, not the people staying there.lol)

I hear the lonely MILF quotient at TI is abnormally high...

We're on the same page and couldn't have said it any better myself. The pool is a bit small but the milf content is high.

What is the nicest Total Rewards hotel in vegas? By nicest I mean fanciest rooms, best restaurants and that's pretty much it. Don't care about a pool or anything. Basically a nice place to take my wife to stay and eat. Probably play some too but I'm not too worried about that.

Edit...we'll be getting upgraded to best available room if that changes anything.

Whats the best ceasars hotel besides the rio for the WSOP. I will be playing a lot of tournies at the rio and the V, and my freind is mostly going to be playing cash. Im staying for 11 nights and Bally's is the cheapeaast at 1100 for my stay and Planet hollywood is 1600. I know PH is nice but is it worth the extra $. Shud i stay at Harrahs and falmingo ceasars is a little too much for me. Thanks for any advice i can receive, first time and long time dreamer to Vegas.

I think Ballys will work fine for you. There is a shuttle to the Rio, it's not far from the V, it is in a central location, and it sounds like it meets your budget.

Thanks for the reply. I guess my main question then is it worth it for $500 extra for 11 nights?

Thanks for the response. After tax and resort fees, it comes out to like 100 night while Planet Hollywood is around $155.

No brainer, snap call for Bally's and an extra $55 bucks per day in my pocket. If Planet Hollywood was $10-15 more per day it'd be a discussion.

I could even make an argument at the same cost. Ballys is a better location (easy Rio shuttle and closer to Venetian), has much larger standard rooms, and hotel in and out is easier than at PH. Most of the complaints about Ballys revolve around outdated furniture and a little dust here and there.

Blueshoes - I've stayed at most CET and I think Bally's is what you're looking for. I stayed there 5 nights during the series last year.

For location, Bally's is the nuts. The Rio shuttle was quick and convenient, and saved me on cab fare. I could also be in the Bellagio (use bridge walkway over LV Blvd) or PH in a 5 minute walk (through Paris, which connects to Bally's).

I did the $20 trick and scored a nice upgrade to the newly renovated Jubilee Tower. For my $20, i had a Strip View facing diagonally, where I could see the Eiffel Tower/Paris Pool on one side, and the Bellagio fountains on the other. The upgrade also gave me a fridge, which is not standard.

The casino itself is kinda meh...I am early 30s, and I felt like I was among the youngest. The Jubilee Tower is right next to the poker room though, but I didn't play at Bally's much, as I played pretty exclusively at Bellagio and WSOP.

Feel free to reply or message me if you have any more questions. I would stay there again this year, but they are giving me a nice comped package at the Rio for my stay this summer.

The traffic around Bally's is much nastier than PHo. It's a long trek around Miracle Mile (1/2 mile, lol) at PHo but it's a long walk from the Bally's parking garage too. Easy access from PHo to Bellagio and Aria if you like those places. I'd call it a wash overall.

The casino is blah at Bally's in comparison. The old poker room was better at PHo but I haven't played at the new one.

I love Planet Hollywood because of the casino, but the rooms aren't really worth paying more than anywhere else. They all feel dated as hell.

That being said I would probably still pay the extra to stay at PHo over Bally's because the Bally's casino bums me out.

historically (obv modern era)

how good is 12 nights(monday checkin saturday checkout) for $400 for a caesars property

i really like the deal i got but unless i get the resort fee waived having fee total be almost the total of the 12 nights is very meh

I loved the room at Ph and I hated the casino, particularly the poker area. I don't know how pig4bill gets in and out of Bally's but to me the traffic around Ph was far worse than out of Bally's. I don't actually spend much time in the Bally's casino I generally play elsewhere. So I really can't compare the two casinos. The rooms at Bally's are good enough to sleep in and the location is great (for me). Thats all I care about.
Harrah's I think is the cheaper of the CET properties now.
