I haven't stayed at the quad but I have stayed at IP. Really it is not as bad as people here report. Just don't expect more than what you are paying for. It is no worse than a typical roadside motel. In my opinion if you are staying in the cheapest place because of your budget, then stay in their cheapest rooms. These were the Capri rooms. Avoid the ground floor rooms in "the tunnel", second floor or third floor is fine. Has the advantage of an exterior door so you can escape the Hotel (Motel) without using an elevator or going through the Casino. On the other hand I've only stayed there in October. I don't know what the air conditioning will be like. I would ask.

Can decline resort fees at Palazzo? What do they get you?

Booked Bally's for those 4 nights. Thanks for the help.

What should I be aiming for when i check in? North tower?

Also, at the Palazzo I assume there isn't much to ask for in terms of upgrades, or am I wrong? I'm staying there for 15 nights and about 6 of those are comped. Can I ask for the resort fee to be waived straight off or is that a long shot?

The resort fee is optional to begin with at Palazzo.

Eco, do you happen to know what other places have the resort fee as "optional"?

Also, anyone stay at LVH lately?

I don't know, and I should clarify that I've only heard multiple times that the V/P one is optional, without having confirmed it firsthand.

Staying at the Hilton successfully using the pokrplyr (36$ rate)code for 18 days starting the 10th. I have stayed there before (3-4) years ago and had no problems. Just seeing if anybody else is staying there and wants to work out the splitting of cab fare to the Rio. PM me

Being locked in to a poker rate at the Hilton seems crazy to me, since from what I've seen recently ,their rooms are fairly cheap to begin with or are on sale. How was the cleanliness etc aside form "problems" with your prior stay?

1. It's not a poker rate, they don't have a poker room.

2. He said he had no problems prior trip

Yeah, Problems I for whatever reason equated with just mechanical. How did you get promo code to work? It's not being accepted even for dates during WSOP

I called around 6/3 the front desk of the Hilton and gave the promo code verbally to the woman working the phone. Within two minutes I was booked for 6/10 to 6/28. My response to the thread was primarily to let people know the code works (POKRPLY) and if people are staying here it would make sense to cut down on cab fare.

Last year i stayed at Harrah's for almost 2 weeks for about $300. I was comp'ed like crazy. Now i'm seeing $1500 or so for this year. Last year i was a "gold" member and now i'm "platinum." Does this make any sense?

how much you get off on the CET website has more to do with your ADT than your tier level. Most probable explanation is that you had too many days since then wehre you went in to the casino and either only gambled a little or not at all, and it wrecked your adt. Remember, if you are staying at the hotel and you don't gamble, that's a big fat goose egg thats worked into your adt.

Its also possible that something is going on during your proposed stay (EDC is coming up if youre coming soon)... CET is probably the worst chain as far as adjusting prices goes.

Suggest Aria, Cosmo, MGM, Venetian higher end. TI nice usually bit cheaper. PH is good too. Since it's your first trip, you will be overwhelmed, suggest staying in Vegas. Yes pick some shows and have fun. Ive heard the new micheal jackson show is great.
