Stayed at Flamingo GO room. The design and initial look to it was amazing. The TV was huge but it was difficult to switch channels. They took 2-3 seconds to switch each channel. Upon initial check in, the heat was not working and I had to call in twice for a maintenance guy to fix it.
Also, they have a DVD player with an iPod plug in for your music so you can listen using their speakers and subwoofer. Well the cord for the iPod wasn't in the room and a call told me that it was "back ordered". The DVD layer broken 1/2 way through my Redbox movie one night and I was too lazy to call in since it would involve waiting who knows how long to fix it. Maintenance guys come whenever they can I learned from waiting 4 hours to get heat in my room at 2am.
One night I was without hot water. The bathroom was awesome though. Stand up shower was excellent and had two jets in addition to shower head. There was a TV in the bathroom mirror. Although the lights in the bathroom was partially out during my stay. It was bright enough without problem but I guess they get brighter.
The headboards were this paddled rubber white thing like an insane asylum and it was awesome because it was super soft and kinky. They also give you a mini fridge with was key. The room also has drapes operated by a light switch by the bed allowing you to open in the morning without getting up. The view was of the Bellagio fountains from my window! Winning!
The design, look, and feel of the room was excellent. The service brought me back down to earth. On 2 days, it took me 4 calls to get my room cleaned and each time you call housekeeping it's a 10 minute hold time for some reason.
I recommend the GO rooms but the Flamingo is still the Flamingo
