Bringing the kids eh? Secret pizza on the third floor (open til 4am) is going to be a god send.

If wanting kid friendly Mexican food that won’t snap the trip budget in half - head across the street to Nacho Daddy on the outside of Miracle Mile Shops facing Harmon. It’s a short walk and the food is worth it.

I should have been clearer. Kids are 25 and 23 but they’re still kids ya know? Been to both Secret and Nacho Daddy on past trips. Thanks Nat.

If you’re going to be eating on an expense account just go Ham, the place is so good the robata grilled corn is even super good. If eating by yourself or with a colleague/friend try asking to sit at the robata bar and it’s really fun watching them make everything over there in front of you. The chefs are true artist preparing, slicing and plating the food .
Thanks Nat! Unfortunately no expense account, but the kobe robata may be too good to pass up.

I will go into more detail in my trip report, but I stayed in the resort tower at Bally's and I liked it.

Really sad what's happened to that property.

thats kind of funny i stayed at the Beau Rivage in Biloxi last week which is literally Bellagio mini and i thought the same thing upon entering my room- this must have been nice, 20 years ago. It opened within months of the Bellagio in 1999. Still the nicest resort in Biloxi and makes you feel like you are in vegas- but no way in god damn hell i would ever pay $500 for a night at bellagio like that author holy ****.

Pretty accurate re Bellagio. It is snowing it’s age in places. Interesting that they were in the spa tower- which is the newer one- but felt it too old.

Also, lol at going to Le Cirque when Picasso is right around the corner. Between that and their reverence for Sadelle’s the NY-centric view was evident.

Quick review of the 3 hotels I stayed at during my recent Vegas trip:

Ballys

- Stayed in a Resort Tower room for two nights.
- Room looks nice and modern, and with a ton of charging outlets for devices.
- They also had an empty fridge for use, which is great.
- Quite big pool, with plenty of deck chairs.
- Pretty decent gym, with opening hours between 5am - 9pm. Bit of a walk to get there however, as it's close to the Monorail-platform.
- Check out/check-in kiosks. Did not work for me when checking in, but quick and efficient when checking out.
- Overall great mid-strip location, close to Bellagio/Aria/Ceasars.

Downtown Grand

- Stayed in a Grand Tower room for 2 nights.
- Asked for a quiet room, and although some faint noise from Fremont in evenings, it was not loud nor bothersome at all for my sleep.
- Room looked quite nice, not as modern as Ballys but still quite new.
- No fridge, but two complimentary bottles of water supplied every day.
- Very small casino, and quite relaxing atmosphere. Also a good location, only 3-4 minutes walk to the craziness of Fremont Street.
- Great pool, although not big it was more than enough room for a few laps. Also slightly heated, and a bit warmer than Ballys.
- Gym is unfortunately way too small, only contains 2 treadmills and 2 other machines, and no dumbells or other strength-training equipment.

Park MGM

- Stayed 3 nights. Very easy to check in and out through self-check kiosks, and many employees around to assist if you're having issues.
- Room looks very nice and modern, and great shower.
- No fridge however, and was missing a proper work desk. Distance between sofa and table way too big to comfortably sit and write on laptop.
- Great gym at 2nd floor, spacious and with a lot of different machines.
- 3 different pools, all quite small and not very wide though, hard to swim laps. Plus for having a jaccuzi though.
- Gaming floor is small but looks nice, and quick access to other casinos (Aria, Bellagio, NYNY).

Overall can definitely recommend all 3 hotels, and will likely stay there myself in the future as well.

I did see a story about a high-class girl getting stopped and turned away while she was headed towards an appointment at Aria not too long ago. Careful if you're at a hotel that requires key cards for elevator access.
Bumping this from last year. Can someone send me a PM (or just post) with specific recs to find strippers who will come to a hotel room? Stripping only is fine, it's for a friend's bachelor party. Trying to avoid getting scammed or straight up robbed.

Was looking at Planet Hollywood Ultra Hip Panorama Suite - 2 Queens (the King Panorama Suite is about $1,800 a night). However, by being tight and getting the cheaper of the Panorama suites (this one is only about $750 a night), it doesn't come with a refrigerator.

I guess you have to spend an extra $1,100 a night for the better suite if you don't want to deal with ice and ice buckets to have a cold bottled water in the morning.

Or downgrade to the "Ultra Hip Room 2 Queens" for only $168 a night which does include a refrigerator.

surely for that price they’ll put a fridge in for you?

The govt shut down all such websites a few years ago. Not only the girls advertising, but any reviews of same. It's a violation of the First Amendment, but nobody wants to take up the case for hoe reviews.

btw I ll say what I said a few months ago after my first trip to vegas, I stayed at polo towers, 5 nights for around 760$ I believe, which was bs since site I booked was for like 600 but they got me on resort fees after the fact.

the room was kinda smal but good enough for me, had its own mini mini kitchen as in fridge and sink. only problem was that the walls were super ****ing thin and I could hear my neighbors kids in th AM sometimes. if it wasnt for that I woud have had NO problem at all.

I think I got the small studio room too

Spending $1k+ a night should get you a fridge. If the room doesn't have one, then you can certainly ask for one. That being said, if you are spending that much, then does an in room fridge really matter?

And if you are spending that much, then why aren't you staying at the Wynn, Aria, or Cosmo?

See your quote above. If I'm spending $700 a night, why do I have to ask for what should be basic furnishings?

Yes, if I'm spending that much why don't I have a device to keep items cold in my room? I might want to throw a pack of hot dogs or something in there.

The Panorama Suites have a certain appeal because of the view. But, yes, hello Planet Hollywood are you listening to this man?

If you like PH, then you should obviously stay there, but what views do you like? If it's the B fountains, then how is a Cosmo suite not preferred at those prices? A Cosmo suite is cheaper and has a terrace.

If you want to stay at PH, then they will most likely put a fridge in your room (especially for that room price).

Nonsense. Before posting misinformation, did you google anything to fact check your assertion ?

Try "Strippers to your room Las Vegas", a slogan that appears on mobile billboard advertisements in Las Vegas.

(Pig, you are thinking of backpage.com.)
