I cannot explain what an amazing mix of pros, 2+2ers, and local poker dudes thus game is.
Single deck at el cortez started bad, down to my last budgeted $40, crawled back up to +$77. My "I don't know what I am doing" level was perfect, though.
Lots of fun tonight. Blew a lot of chips at the plo tourney, then Poppa, Drew and I went and shot craps at main street station and blew a lot of money. Also, Drew has over 400 bats on his body and I kept farting farts that smelled like sulfur. Then I dropped an entire beer on the carpet at the plaza where a dude was vaccuuming the carpets. I actually feel very bad about this.
2+2er sublime and our new buddy D from the Omaha game just played craps at main street station. Ran good for a while, then really bad. -200. Grabbing some food and maybe more bj with D.
I am obviously going to write all this up Friday but I cannot explain how amazing the Omaha game was without a better understanding of the 2+2 rules about naming names of people you're playing with. Familiar faces and voices. I introduced myself, announced it was my birthday, and then we all got drunk. Like really drunk. $12 Omaha tournament when you are getting drunk is very ev+.
As I drove back to the strip I decided that I was going to sleep as long as possible and lo and behold 9 hours later, feel like a million bucks. Weird wanting breakfast at 4 pm.
Oh, ps, getting an upgrade to a parlor suite at Bally's is still staying at Bally's.
Think I am going to go play 2-5 @ bellagio tonight. Maybe Aria 1pm tomorrow? I am kind of sick of tournaments, tbh.

This. A few years ago when poker rates were slow to come down, I experimented with a couple of big suites in mediocre hotels as an alternative for the same $$. You might get a 1250 sq ft suite, but the prison issue towels and school soap, coupled with chalk marks on the carpet, serve as a constant reminder that you are indeed, still in a medicore hotel.
If my count is square I am +27 in Gamblor and +411 in poker right now.

Lost $2 playing the donk bet at pai gow waiting for bellagio 2-5. Hopefully meeting katana later. On my walk here laughed at the guy standing in the middle of the street calling everyone ****s and asking to fight.
One thing I love about playing Vegas vs home is the ability to table/room select with my mood. Do I want to play good predictable poker like today? Got a game. Do I want to play with a bunch of spewtards? Got a game.
