Thank you! Masks suck, but I get it and am on board. Thank goodness no plexiglass at the tables. Tons of people and poker is alive and well.

Hubby wasn't heading back, so I walked to Bally's and sat in 1/3. Never played there before. Had a blast. Guy next to me went to my rival high school, but he was 23 years younger Won a couple more hundred, so up $1,000+ so far.

LOL. PLO. Sorry. I'm old and talk into my phone. I thought I had fixed all of those.

Most of the PLO players at Aria yesterday were so tight and uptight. Only three other players would do bomb pots. I raised after looking at one card and won with junk and they were so upset. It was hysterical. I let someone run it twice (I never ask and never decide, but if they want to run it twice, I'm fine with it) and was told how bad I was for running it twice. The main game was a little better. Saw a few regulars who I'm used to playing with, so that was nice.

Going to go for a run and buy a bathing suit (I forgot to pack mine) and head to the pool this morning, then back to Aria.

Found a suit I like, so hanging by the pool for a little while. Figured you guys didn't want a picture of a 53 year old woman in a bathing suit so I got this for you. It it's about the best I could get here. By far!

PLO table was pretty good. Big stack ($3,000+) got pissed and left when I called his $325 bet on river A with AA on a straight, flush board. Cashed out up $900+, but should have been more. Played a few gamble-y hands and the end

Unfortunately, I have to share the bad with the good. My mother-in-law called me last night and mentioned that the cat wasn't coming in at night. I told her she was supposed to be bringing him in but it seemed to fluster her so I told her not to worry about it. Our dog jumped the fence and kill the cat at 4:00 a.m. .RIP Smeagol. You were a fabulous member of the family.

I just went for a run and I'm crying in the bathroom at Flamingo. LOL. Going to try my hand at pai gow. Maybe it will cheer me up.

My husband finishes his conference this afternoon, so we'll head to Aria later. I might be them there.

I am sorry to hear about Smeagol. Losing a pet is just about the worst.

Thanks. We lost a dog two months ago, too The only upside to that is that our new dog and our other dog are the best friends two dogs can be.

Pai gow did cheer me up. The company was great. It was a $50 cup of Baileys and coffee but worth it -- really nice guys. I was going to head to the pool for a little while and then over to Aria, but I am skipping the pool.

I learned the hard way not to play poker while you're sad. Lost 400 playing 1/3 no limit and then 500 playing PLO. I had the perfect spot next to a maniac in PLO and I made a hero call that turned out to be wrong. He had gone runner runner full house with two six versus my flopped straight.

I would have bought back in but my husband had just called and our vacation started.

It was early so we did touristy stuff for food. Went to Flights which was pretty terrible. The food was actually good but the service was bad and the wine was awful. Then went to Ocean One for nachos. Actually had fun. Bartenders were great.

More later. At pool drinking pina coladas.

At Aria sitting at 1/3 waiting for PLO.

No poker last night btw. My husband is a covid long hauler and he was not up to poker after a very early morning and meetings all day. We both had covid in October and we were vaccinated in April, and he still has brain fog, gets headaches, twitches, stumbles, etc. Exercise makes it worse and he gets more difficult as the day goes on. He is here with me now though!

Sorry to hear about your cat, it is like losing a family member.
I remember 20+ yrs ago while in vegas getting the call from my mom that my dog died.
couldn't focus for a couple days , just hung out poolside with a drink in my hand chilling and grieving.

We were at the best PLO table in the world last night and I could not make a hand. Passive, loose players chasing everything. My husband played brilliantly and did well. I was down a few hundred, but considering I literally won about six hands in 12 hours, I was pretty happy. Sadly, three of those were against my husband.

We are even for the trip. I am up about $500. $200 of that I found! I actually found $300, looked around for whoever dropped it between the poker room and bathroom, but nobody was around. The cleaning guy who I always try to give a few bucks to (he has been there for years) asked if I needed help, so I gave him $100.

The good news is we decided to stay another night! Going to lunch soon and then back to the tables.
