Buy in for 1/3 is 300 and you can zip through that in one hand. If you go during the WSOP, and if you are a poker player I recommend doing that then unless you play one of the special events buy-ins are generally $1,500 and up. Daily deepstacks are $265 for the daytime one, at least it was last time I went.

As for hotel, if you want a nice hotel experience then Caesar's, Venetian, Bellagio are nice hotels and will give you a good experience. If you just want a place to stay and sleep and have more money to gamble with then Flamingo, Harrahs or Bally's all are functional if not amazing.

Food options are everywhere and you can spend as much or as little as you want. You can spend $100 on a meal or $15. Some good cheaper options like Earl of Sandwich and some great fine dining restaurants if you want that.

Vegas is a great place to visit, the WSOP is am amazing spectacle for a poker player to see but it is a miserable place to be if you dont have enough money.
Thanks man I'll definitely take on board what you said

I've got a whole year to save up so definitely gona make sure I got enough funds to have a amazing time

Or maybe plan to rent a car and hit some National Parks for a week/Vegas for a week. You could always do the Vegas part first and then just stay if you're not burnt out or broke after a week.

Don’t worry everyone. If things go according to plan the OP will be a millionaire soon.

Steve, I think you are correctly suspicious.

If not, National Parks are preserved wilderness areas, not theme parks. And two weeks in Vegas at $140/day was not doable when I first went in 1993, let alone now.

The Stratesphere has some extreme rides up on top of their building!!! I am heading up there in a few weeks for a $1500 wsop event. Hoping I go deep, but if not, using my free time to go on Stratosphere roof and play some $2/5 at Bellagio.
