I think this is a good summary, although Super Bowl weekend and the NFR should be added.

If the question is NOT poker-centric, add in EDC weekend.

Not anymore, they moved it up to the weekend before Memorial Day Weekend, at least for 2018 and 2019. MDW is the best party weekend of the year anyway imo.

Superbowl is good. Everyone is watching the game and not paying attention to the table. However, the lack of attention also slows the game down a bit.

IME July 4th is nothing special. The average person goes somewhere that it's not 110 degrees outside, and the hardcore poker fiends are at the WSOP.

Never been there for NYE but I can't imagine the poker is much good. The Strip hotels lock their doors in the late afternoon to keep people from coming in off the street.

Depends on your definition of ‘party weekend’ and ‘go hard’, but if you’re looking for an Ibiza/Mallorca-style opportunity to start Thursday night and go basically nonstop til Monday night, the weather kinda prevents that on 07/04 and 01/01.

The only year I took full advantage of that which was ages ago, we did Tao -> Encore Beach -> Marquee -> Wet Republic -> XS -> Rehab -> Haze (rip) -> Marquee Day Club -> XS.

With EDC now right ahead of MDW, I’d assume you can see top notch DJs perform every single day for 12 days straight?
