I wasn't there, but was told he attempted to gain access to the media room & players by using his media badge from last year & somehow doctoring it to say 2019. He was wearing it turned around, too bad the badges are hung on a different colored lanyard this year & he was caught, questioned, had his player pictures deleted & was 86d. If any of this is untrue, perhaps Andrew can give us his version of what happened...

He's not very adept at doctoring, as I demonstrated in this post.

And yet I'm one of the few people saying his "scam" that lost him his money was a comically bad made up story

I don't think many people believed it once the "evidence" was posted.

Believing, not believing, was not an issue for me. The kid likes poker and he is a good kid. I enjoy his posts and wish him well. As for doing not so bright things when you are young: let's just say he is not alone . . . even in this forum packed full of wizards at poker and life and everything else.

I’m not saying I wasn’t pulling for him, just that it was obviously bs.

He's 28 though...

If this is all true lol I'm starting to dig all his crazy adventures. As long as nobody gets hurt.

Happy for the poker vloggers as a whole.

Neeme and Owen with their successful MUGs.

Trooper with his post-poker vlogger life.

Marle with her mainstream hosting gigs.

Pokerkraut, Jaman, and Vibes moving along just fine.

Now Bikeking with some good news.

All is well this side of Mark Ari who I hope will be okay eventually.

What I took from that tweet is that he's probably flipping burgers at Mickie Ds and is looking to run up his bankroll to $500 so he can take a shot at 2/5.

He’s such an awful weak/tight player - but “wrong side of variance” lol

I am glad to see that he has taken a real job, and I hope that he keeps it.

I really don't understand the mentality that the purpose of a job is run up your bankroll and become a poker professional.

He wants to save up $50k so that he can finally live the dream of grinding out a subsistence existence at the poker tables. I'm glad I gave up the "dream" years ago.

What is it that separates the successful midstakes grinders like Neeme and Owen from the low limit ones that have all failed (Trooper, BikeKing, PokerPriest, etc.). Is it just easier to earn a living at the higher stakes? Or do they have the skill and temperament that the others don't?

I'm pretty sure his dream involves living out of a subcompact car while playing 10 hrs of poker a week just to cover his costs so he can dick around the rest of the time.

this thread began with him receiving an inheritance and ended with him blowing all of it and living in a car. i don't know why he thinks the next time he quits his job will end any differently. if you've been playing poker for 10 years and still haven't proven you can make a living off of it odds are you never will. San Diego is an amazing place to live anyways, i would choose that over Vegas every day of the year.
