Does Bikeking think he is done talking about the elephant in the room ?

I just don't see the elephant going away quietly.

Man living in the car looks miserable. Wake up to canned fruit, then off to shower in a cheap gym, lunch at jack in the box, then all day on computer drinking water at starbucks, then playing 1-2 poker before sleeping in a car.

Highlight of the day: laundromat has wifi and air conditioner

Looks like he was done talking about it a good while back. Lol

I think it was what allowed him to save as fast as possible to move up to 2-5. Now he's got no choice.

Hey, at least he's persevering and managing to stay in Vegas. Hopefully, Andrew can rebuild at 1/2 and eventually get a place to stay in the next year or so. I agree though. I didn't want his life watching that video.

I always wanted to live out of a car but could never go through with it. I thought the simplicity of his life was pretty great.

Living out of a car doesn't sound that simple to me. Whole set of new challenges and issues to deal with

Yeah it seemed to be a very un-glamorous look at the homeless lifestyle. And it seems like he's wasting his time if he's trying to lift to gain weight. You gotta eat a lot which costs money which he either doesn't have or doesn't want to spend.

I was homeless for 4 months at age 19 between semesters in college and that was a rough, stressful go as a loaner with little to no resources. This seemed very sad and not glamourous at all. With the hot days in Vegas coming up in 2 months or so, does BK have an end game or goal to find housing? Or that sick aviation gig?

I thought the worst part was him doing the survey every ****ing day to get a 2 for 1 Jumbo Jack.

Reminded me of Shameless how Fiona, Lip, and the rest of the family do ANYTHING they can just to survive day to day..

I think it is pretty evident we didn't get the entire story, but the kid seems like an ok sort to me and I'll continue to root for him.

Yeah he probably lied, but it didn't personally affect me so I'm ready to move on..

What I noticed was how dirty the upholstery on the inner roof of his Prius was. Cars were meant to drive in from point A to point B, not to drive around AND spend 8 hours a night sleeping, meal prep, lounging to watch movies etc.

It's one thing to live out of a fitted out van that has more space. Usually those people travel all around the country as well, and aren't spending their time sleeping in a parking garage in a Vegas casino.

Andrew P. Seems like an alright guy but man, living out of your car?
I don't get it.
I'm a bit older and I would be miserable for sure I had to do that.
The whole story doesn't make sense to me either.
Have a good tech job in aviation industry but f it, I'll go to Vegas, live in my car, because I want to live the dream!?
Are we sure this whole living in car thing isn't some kind of gimmick to begin with?

Definitely a gimmick.

It wasn't a necessity for BikeKing..he wanted to live a minimalistic life.

His roll was around $40,000 - $50,000 when he started living in his car, if memory serves.

One thing about watching Trooper's and BikeKing's vlogs..it squashes any desire to move to Las Vegas and grind poker for a living..they both make it seem like an absolutely miserable existence.

TBC confirms the misery..

I think Trooper is doing alright when poker is a side gig. His main gig is vlogging and the merchandise. Is he still hosting poker games as well?

The only thing for sure about Bike King's story about the stolen money is that he clearly - for whatever reason - has no money.

What exactly happened to the $40k (or if it ever existed) is the mystery.

But being tied down to a prius in a parking garage is not exactly the great freedom and escape from a 9-5. Like was said, he is scraping by with surveys for jack in the box coupons. Looks lonely and limited.

He should just go on full tour mode, embrace being stuck in a car for the vlog and for the experience.

That would require money for gas. Plus, how will he shower/bathe since he is tied down to a gym in Vegas?

Definitely should consider Cali, arguably better games and by living in his car he offsets the housing costs.

He can upgrade to the $10 more a month chain gym with a small annual fee and get the the chain.

Didn’t even consider the implications of being a beach bum way +EV for overall life/happiness.

IPS thought you lived in Florida?

Most artists are penniless ...even the good ones.
Not sure it works the same way with poker...
A homeless poker player. He must be good...is something you don't hear

I think you deserve better than to live in a car tho. Everyone should have a home.

I have no problem with BikeKing living out of his car. I think it is quirky and it will give/has given him a new perspective on life. By downsizing and minimizing your life and possessions, it really makes you focus on the important things and gives you a new appreciation of a lot of things most people take for granted.

On the other hand, it is important to think long term and see living in the car (which is definitely limiting in life) as a short term fix to a problem or a step towards something bigger. If he is planning on doing this for a few months or even a year (summer will be tough!), that is fine as long as it is actually helping him move towards a bigger goal faster.

I hope he doesn't fall into the hole that another prominent poker vlogger has fallen into. Some people lose sight of the big picture and get caught up in the details. What's his 1 year goal? 3 year goal? 5 year goal?

On the practical side, does he run his engine all night? Is that good for the car being parked and running all night? Also, his diet is horrible. A can of pineapple slices, 2 jumbo jacks, an occasional ice tea at Starbucks, and some pizza? This is probably low on the calorie count and that is why he is so skinny but the quality of the calories are horrible. This is the main problem. Is he chugging protein shakes to bulk up or to just hit a minimum daily calorie intake?
