Smart strategy by Bikeking.

Just like the master Trump.

Never apologize. Never admit to being wrong.

Deflect, distract.

I doubt that we will ever come to any truly definitive conclusion to which we will all agree without reservation. Further "testimony" and "discovery" on the Punta Cana matter is fruitless. So, let's just move forward. I enjoy reading the adventures and look forward to the next installment.

Just got caught up with this thread. Sorry to hear you were robbed through the bank.

Is it possible that when you applied for staking through the thread below, that they obtained enough personal information to access your bank?

First time i saw this guy was on live at the bike on twitch i think. He blasted through a buyin or 2 playing absolutely terrible. I chalked it up to just wanting to have fun on a live stream for the viewers ect... then he went into the booth after donating a couple stacks to the table for an interview and just seemed off to me.

his demeanor and mannerisms were odd imo, but with all that said i give him huge props for doing what he has and putting his life out there for all us to nit pick. weather he is telling the truth or a bold faced lie, i could care less, i truly hope he makes it playing poker for a living if that makes him happy and fulfilled

Owen is just another nitty grinder but Neeme is definitely a righteous god amongst vloggers. Dude is a role model for younger guys.

The one thing that stood out to me was the huge $900 pot he scooped and said that it was the biggest pot of his life. How do you grind up a 40k roll never playing a 4figure pot? Or was it MTT play?

It was actually a 2k pot in the vloggers cash game. As far as his roll, he grinded up 20k. The first 20k was an inheritance, he had said. He hadn't played much live consistently before last year, which might explain some of his live play last year.

Take Dale Carnegie (expensive) or join Toaster Masters (cheap) to improve your presentation skills.

Define your "get in better shape" goal along the lines of gaining weight/muscles. You'd have to lift weights and, and - this could be a source of awesome content for your vlog - eat a lot!!!! Have you seen the eating videos of Mark Wiens? That guy probably only has slightly slower metabolism than you. He eats like crazy and does not gain weight. Half of his videos are in Thailand. There are more than enough eating places in Las Vegas and Cali to interest people.

As for bankroll building, all I can say is, take shots more and hide your bankroll in multiple places, not in one basket.

In terms of writing, how about a blog in addition to Poker News? Then an ebook once you've got 25 articles compiled.

As for the vlog. Create separate short videos for different categories (same channel): 1. Eating/fitness (ala Mark Wiens) 2. Hand analysis (ala Doug Polk, Andrew Neeme, Vaughn) 3. Car living (Hobo Ahle, Element Van Life, etc.)

Finally, regarding time management: Eat That Frog

Sharp post..btw what happened to your Dream Crusher account ?

In Jaman Burton's most recent live video Kelli was shown and she was really excited that people in Jaman's chat stream knew her, so she might enjoy the YouTube fame, but it seems like she does really like Trooper as well.

Also in Jaman's live video Trooper was asking something about where are the single ladies right in front of Kelli, so I guess they really are just friends or just Friends With Benefits. I wouldn't be surprised if Kelli has or is looking for a boyfriend her own age.

Or she might even do escorting because it's Vegas and she probably gets a lot of propositions from the guys she massages. Who knows? (Yes, I know not all the young women in Vegas are strippers and escorts but there are a lot of them in Vegas. If Kelli is an escort on the side that just makes her an even more interesting vlog character.)

It's just nice when Trooper includes recurring fun characters in the vlog. There are so many interesting people in Vegas it would be easy for him to film interactions with regularly. For example, to start with, if he has an ongoing joke with bridge squatter "Go to church!" guy why not ask him if he can put him in the vlog once in a while? (He doesn't legally need to ask permission but it's the right thing to do.) And why not include some fun interactions with the showgirls on the street or Dirt Dog staff or Starbucks staff or poker staff? Then they tell their family and friends to watch the vlog then Trooper's channel grows. Fun for everyone.
Look familiar?

The first 20k was a tournament win...... then changed to an inheritance later on, s big reason why most of us think this guy is full of chit. Can't even keep his own lies straight.

Welcome back BikeKing. I hope you put some vlogs out this year. Hopefully closer to 50 (1 a week) but even if it's 30, that would be cool too. Someone mentioned earlier in this thread spreading them between different channels because you could have a few interesting genres in 2018, eating different places, hand histories, living in a car, etc.

Whatever you do, I hope you enjoy the process and don't face any major setbacks. While I feel there are a lot of weird things that happened in your bank loss story, put it in the past and try to move on. (Also try to put the correct safeguards in place for the future.)

Remember, 2018 is the year of action. Less talking and promising and more action!

BikeKing,

I’m a subscriber and my advice to you,

It is not everyday that someone so young can make 6 figure income especially at a trade. If you can make 6 figure as an aircraft mechanic, go do that for few years and build the bankroll. That will give you a cushion to make it. Seize this opportunity because you are young mobile, no responsiblities and that is impressive salary for a trade

Thanks for the update. Best of luck to you

It varies depending on how solid a player you are and on the limits you play.
