Just booked my stay here for 6 nights, Tuesday thru Wednesday $393.89. Great deal, looks like an ideal location. Has anyone gotten out of paying the resort fees? I booked through otel.com and they couldn't tell me if I still owed resort fees. They said it was up to the hotel. I called Flamingo and they also could not tell me if I owed a resort fee. Guess I'll just have to wait until I get to the hotel front desk:/

Just an update. I'm very pleased with the flamingo. Nice room at a great rate. The pool area is nice and the linq shops outside are nice too. Excellent value!

It's definitely the best location on the strip, such easy reach of everything and the monorail station for things a little further away (MGM for instance).

I've stayed at Flamingo many times and even though I've stayed at more upmarket places (Aria, Wynn) I still feel drawn to the place.

If they could put Wynn rooms in the Flamingo locale, that would be ideal!

I've learned to not assume anything on 2+2.

I'll take you at your word, you wanted to know about a specific game, when and if that casino reopens poker, because you are in town now, are bored and want to play plo.

(There are certainly private plo games going on, I heard about someone playing in one.)

For whatever it contributes to this conversation, I played in that 1/1PLO game when I was in Vegas for the WSOP. I like that poker room. I like the pink decorations and I like how the room is kind of open to the rest of the casino - makes you "feel" like you're in the whole casino not just the poker room. Psychoillogical I know, but I'm sticking to it.

I stayed there last time I was in Vegas and would often end my night with some 3-6 or. 1-2 there (mostly played at Wynn and Orleans otherwise). I enjoyed the room and the staff and regulars were friendly. I also played the 1-1 during WSOP and that had good action
