Aloha Kitchen does look good I’ll put it on my short list, I’ll be in that area at some point as well so might be a good option.

I may do Peppermill but have a good reason to not have it on my list. As my trip progresses the reason will become more apparent but don’t want to reveal why as of yet.

Ha I’m a nit or least I believe I am, certainly a life nit. My poker is tight and I stink but I’ve been reading and watching a lot of videos of definite LAG players and have opened up my game. I might limp TT from EP but no way I’m folding to a $12 bet.

Background:

Late 30s professional with an engineering degree working in operations for a large Oil & Gas company in Houston. Married with a five year old. Kid is currently with in-laws in Europe and my wife is currently on vacation there as well. I’ll be heading there next month to pick up the kiddo before he starts pre-K. As I’m a bachelor seemed like a good time for a trip out to the desert.

Goals of my Vegas portion of my trip:

- Coupon whoring the whole darn valley
- Try to make an hourly that resembles minimum wage at the poker tables
- Try not to lose more than the juice on my daily baseball bets
- Considering the +EV of the coupons I hope to break even on my non poker/sports betting gambling of video poker, craps and BJ
- try to have at least one nice meal
- maybe meet up with at least one other person also currently in Vegas for a meal or to play cards, whatever

GL. May all your coupons be valid. Nothing worse than an expired coupon.

Was very entertained at the beginning and read through the whole thing only to find out you're not even hear yet... Not entertained.

At MSS, Boar’s Heads bar, had some good times here. Just left the Plaza +$18.75 from free play on VP. +$61 on BJ MP $25 and $10.

+$8 on two $10 MP I had at MSS. I had an offer for a $10MP and $10 food credit I decided to take advantage of at Triple 7 brewery. Poke isn’t very good. Porter ain’t bad.

Matchplays at the D was brutal 0-2 on the $25 ones and lost $128 and didn’t get to use either push on 22 cards.

Also 0-2 MP $10 at Fremont and the The Cal.

Man Binion’s use to have a great poker room, it’s sad now.

Tally up $69.25 from coupon run, well under expectations. $100 baseball bets. Going to eat and than probably play cards. Will likely get a drink with a guy from a from another forum who’s a true degen.

3-0 on baseball yesterday first bet today is Nationals and Phillies first 5 inning under. I got at even money under 4.5 runs. I feel good on this one which usually means it’ll be 6-6 in the 3rd.
