Sorry I was thinking more global than that. You started in Vegas and drove to Reno with some stops. So how long are you on the road in between these quirky places?

Loved Hard Eight. Nice stop.

If you're going back to Vegas before ending this degeneracy, make sure to hit the Stage Door.

Sorry it’s about an 7 hour drive. It’s not bad if unless your stuck behind a rig or something as it’s mostly two way.

What I did was leave Vegas early afternoon and spent the night in Tonopah and got a Foods night sleep. I did the slightly longer route through California from Tonopah to Tahoe which was a nice drive.

Well Giants bet was a huge did, Cubs won, down the juice. Jays, Tigers was on pace to over 6 runs in the first 5 but might get rained out.

Also went to the house of Samuel L. Jackson’s character in the film, where the film finale was filmed.

After I eat I’m going to check out the Nugget. They had this great lounge scene filmed in there. Hopefully the lounge is still there.

Thanks I’ll need to watch those trailers again, it was over 20 years since they filmed it.

Final tally for baseball for today -$165, decided to also blow another $110 on Angels vs Mariners over 10.

Well over on baseball for the trip. I’ll need to do a final tally for the trip but I have well over a $1000 left and started with $2300. Considering, food tips, might be break even. My record keeping sucked but compared to normal but I should be able to tally a good chunk from this report.

Thanks for the link. I actually need to cut back on this, side effects seem scary. I think if I cut out the 6 cups of black coffee, cigarettes and nearly nightly drinking that should do the trick.

Free soup FTW at Peppermill, I love this room.

That being said lost $142. Cashed out as my last game was baseball game was wrapping up.

Hit the book at Peppermill to cash some tickets. Than drove to Grand Sierra. I closed out my mobile William Hill sportsbook account. Those British bums don’t like paying customers. Did a quick session at GSR. There $1/$2 game was great, room only had one table and kind of sucked. That being said I’d give it a go or call for a game if I was in town again.

Went to The Nugget in Sparks which was down the street from the diner in Hard Eight.

Won $5 whole bucks on VP. I was looking for the lounge from Hard Eight where Sydney first meets Samuel L. Jackson’s character, which I heard they filmed there. It apparently is long gone.

Oh currently at the airport waiting for my flight out of town.

Nice report. Some of those smaller casinos are something else.

Last year when I did a coupon run I hit up Longhorn casino which is really just someones living room. They had some ridiculous blackjack rules like being able to double after hitting and $2 min tables.

Yeah that BJ game comes up as a .25 edge game. This puts it as one of the best in Vegas and only $2 a hand is crazy.

I didn’t really get into it too much but I sat next to Andrew Neeme at the Nugget game.

Now given he just lost a $1000 pot as I first sat down to a guy hitting a set against him, being ahead the whole way and betting big. That being said he seemed miserable, extremely tensed and focus, certainly didn’t seem fun to him to grind for a living. I’d much rather deal with the corporate world BS and be an office monkey.

Made the vlog! Well sort of I just sat down as the QQ vs. rivered set of 10s hand played out as well as other hands discussed and played out. Watching the content of this video it all makes more sense now why he was in such a terrible mood.

One of these was the hand on Neeme's vlog (with the video poker ticket thumbnail), right?

Epstein family took over El Cortez years before Jackie died. Like you mention, he would eat in the cafeteria and play cards.

Yup and would eat at the Flame steakhouse every evening for dinner. His caregiver would come get him and call it Roberta’s the original name and name of his decreased wife. Are in there a few times where he was also dining.

Wonder what they did with his suite that he lived in?
