Nice pickup on the ASU game. I turned down ASU -13.5, kicking myself.

Not doing much good with the NFL today, the Bengals cost me a shot at a nice parlay and I had them +3 on a straight bet so that was a push. I do a have a teaser that will close out if the Cowboys just win so it won’t be a total loss. At the Rio right now, just got done with another $125 single table. Ran really well again and busted a few players AK > A4, 99 > AJ and J10 > A9 blind vs blind. So I had about 3500 chips then raised AK to 400 @ 75/150 and the SB called. She was the only other big stack and after a QsJs10x flop she leads into me for 400, I make it 1300 and she calls. Turn is a 7 and she shoves and shows J7 when I call. River blank, she has me covered by a single 25 unit chip and I’ve got over 7K at that point 4-handed.


She doubles up a couple times then the #2 & #3 stacks get all in and the short stack loses leaving us 3-handed with an ultra short stack. She’s all in blind the next hand and loses so we’re heads up and I still have about 7K. He offers to give me the 2 lammers in exchange for the $180 in last longer money and the $75 cash they award. Couldn’t say no to that so I end up with 2 more $500 lammers!!

See how different those look than your first ones? These here are what mine looked like.

I was playing a $125 and got to heads-up with 80% of the chips. He offered me a 25-75 chop. Gee, no thanks, I have a big chip lead, I'm not giving you an advantage in the chop. Then he gave me the "Do you know who I am?" line. LOL. He got up to 30/70 and offered me a 60% chop. Obviously I refused again, and he told me he makes a living playing short-stacked heads-up sng's. Is that even a thing? I might lose the tournament but I'm not going to screw myself by taking a bad deal. Yes, I won a few hands later.

They’re definitely the same chips, I think the first pic there was a lighting/glare issue. I for sure got the better end of the chop this time, my opponent was older and admitted he didn’t have much experience with these kinda deals. He actually proposed at first that he just take the last longer money but I told him I’d throw in the $75 that came with the lammers. I wanna make the best deal I can but that would’ve been too one-sided IMO. I typed earlier the last longer was $180 but it was actually only $160, 2 people opted out. So I got $1000 he got $235…

Hit the over in the Bills-Chiefs game and I’ve got a live teaser heading into tomorrow night. Last full day in Vegas, part of me is ready to be outta here but I know I’ll miss it! Gonna take the gf to get a massage tomorrow then dinner and a comedy show somewhere tomorrow night. Anyone got a recommendation for a good comedy show in town?

Game is pretty good, several newer players and lots of action. I hit 3 full houses in one orbit and got some action every time. Then a guy announced he was blind and raised pre to 25, I called with KcQx8c8x flop was 10c4c3x. 5 way action he bets 125 with not much behind, I was closing the action and we got it all in. He then looked at 2 of his cards and said he had 2-5, turn is an off suit 2, river is the 9 of clubs and he rolls over 6-4 for his other two cards meaning I needed to improve on the river. Not sure how much longer I’m gonna play, game is getting pretty short handed and I’m getting sleepy…

Game broke around 3 am, there was at least one other 1/2 PLO game tuning but I’d had enough. Was in for 400 out for 905 for some much needed momentum towards the end of my trip. This is the latest night I’ve had here so far but it was worth it. I was surprised how busy the Aria was on a Sunday night, the poker room had almost every table running when we got there after 11 pm.

Got up way too early, bet the Braves ML and put in a 4-teamer. Hit the Cosmo for a breakfast burrito @ The District, very tasty and filling. Crossed the street to Planet Hollywood to cash my ticket from last night and played a little pai gow. Back to the room to sweat the end of the Braves game then I took the gf to get a massage. We’re gonna head to the MGM Grand later and catch a show at Brad Garrett’s comedy club. Need lots of runs in the Rays-Red Sox game and a W from the Ravens!!

Honestly I didn’t even see it was ppd before I made the bet. I woke up just in time to get the bets in before the Braves game started. Not sure if I’ll hedge or not, I’ll figure it out tomorrow.

Yes sir I’ve got a winner! Only gonna pay about $470 now but I’ll take it. Put in a 2-teamer with the White Sox & Braves, last chance ticket before we leave town. Our flight leaves at 9:40 tonight so we’ve got some time to kill. Sitting in the Bellagio sports book watching the game now, might get into a 1/3 game at some point.

Sitting in a 1/3 game at Bellagio. Table is decent, I flopped a set of 2s on the button in a 5-way single raised pot. Cutoff bet 30 on AQ2 rainbow and I was the only caller. Turn was an 8 he bet 60 with maybe 120 behind so I shove and he eventually calls then mucks before the river is even dealt once he sees my set. Won a few other decent pots then flopped a set of 9s, got all in with a short stack who had AA and hit the unnecessary quads on the river. In for 300…

Nice trip

Sitting at the airport now waiting to board the flight home. I ended up +430 @ Bellagio in a short session. The gf was too tired to concentrate on poker anymore so we hopped in an Uber and headed down to Fremont St. We casino hopped and played some lower limit table games at the Golden Nugget, Circa, Binion’s, 4 Queens & Fremont. First time seeing the Circa in person and their sports book is amazing! I’ll definitely have to spend a football Saturday or Sunday in there sometime in the future.

We had to cab it back to the Strip because Uber was on surge pricing and it would’ve been $40+. We ate at the Mexican place in Planet Hollywood which was really good, I had the shrimp enchiladas. Walked back to Aria to cash my parlay ticket and asked the guy about the White Sox-Astros over leg of the ticket. He said on a baseball total, both listed pitchers must start or it’s no action, you don’t have a choice. So instead of $1050+ I won $468.

I did put a few more bets in at the Bellagio when we were there, including a future bet on the Cowboys to win the Super Bowl @ 12/1! I’m a Cowboys fan and I thought it was pretty good value considering how well they’re playing. It’s $83 to win $996, and if anyone can guess exactly why I bet $83, I’ll give them a 5% free roll. One guess per screen name, certain restrictions apply, void where prohibited, etc.

I’ll do a final summary sometime in the next couple days once I catch up on my sleep. Til next time Vegas!!

No, the first one you showed the pic on had 4 edge marks, and the latest ones had 8 edge marks.

Hmmmm that’s weird, I went back and looked at my pics and I have 2 pics from the day I won the first 2 lammers.




I sold one of those pretty quickly and held on to the other one for a week or so and sold it this past Sunday. Maybe they look different on each side? Because the second pic here is definitely one of the 2 lammers from the first pic. I had texted someone asking if they wanted to buy it and that’s why I took the second pic. I dunno man this has got me genuinely curious now!!
