Busto in the 1k BB Ante a couple hours ago about 100-125 off the money had 16K at 300/600 Ante 600 blinds and AA couldn't hold against Qc 10c oh well gg.... I will absolutely be playing cash all night tonight so let's hope to run up a stack it first dinner with some buddies unsure of location just yet

So I ended up playing what turned into a 2-5-10 mandatory straddle at Venetian last night for a 7 hour session... The room was okay but I much prefer Aria's room. My buddy who I am out here with and I happen to be playing in the same game which we generally NEVER like to do but decided the game was too good and fun to request a table change. One interesting spot that came up which I dread happening precisely occurred. I look down at Ax Ax in the BB... straddle is on so 2-5-10... MP flats, CO makes it $35.... my friend on Button 3 bets to $105.... folds to me in BB and I pop it to $265 pre... CO flats the $265 and my buddy on the button 5 bets to $600 (he has 1150 to start the hand) I flat the 5 bet for $600 and the CO who is playing about $1100 effective at this point thanks for 3 minutes before folding... Flop Kd Jd 4x... I mean pretty terrible for my AA given the action preflop. In this spot I'm pretty much 50/50 as my buddy had either KK or QQ here... I decide to open ship because I can't ever fold for his last $450 so why not apply the pressure myself and if he has KK god bless. Fortunately for me he instantly looks to the sky and I said so sick QQ huh bud as to which he replies "of course dude so sick". He ends up mucking and we scoop but needless to say I really don't ever like playing with friends at my table and neither does he because of these exact spots but we never soft play each other so these situations are inevitable if we choose to play together. Lastly I was up as much as $1700 and down as much as $200 for the 7 hours I played... we ended up $75 for the session (gross) and managed to scoop a pot which included a pair of these....

Ran a quick 2 hour session this afternoon at Aria and then hit the pool for an hour... heading to Bellagio tonight to play some 5/10 and heading to the Old Homestead with friends which I am really looking forward to... Things have been falling into place nicely so far this trip let's hope it continues tonight as I am flying back home tomorrow.... scooped a nice $900 profit in 2 hour afternoon session

Old Homestead was fantastic as expected and after checking out the 2/5 NL games at Caesars my buddy and I decided to go with our original plan of running a session of 5/10 at Bellagio... There were a couple spots in my game as soon as I sat down around 11pm but around 1am or so both guys picked up and called it a night... overall the game got tougher as the night went on and I ended up being in for 3K but managed to fight my way all the way back and book a +$200 win for the evening. Unfortunately my Bellagio session that ended at 5am this morning is my last Vegas session as I hopped my flight back home earlier today and am heading back home with a maniac for an Uber driver whose driving excessively fast in the rain... Overall the 4 days I spent in Vegas turned out to be profitable but more importantly I got to spend time with poker buddies and catch up with friends over a game we all love to play so much. I look forward to putting my best efforts in to up the ante on the playful bribery in order to get the go ahead from wifey to head back out next year during WSOP prime time.... until then my friends I will leave you with one last chip pic from Bellagio which isn't all that impressive well at all considering I was in the game for 3K.
