The LVCVA probably already owns all the land involved, so easements would not be a problem.

The reaction from Sheldon might be interesting however. He competes with the LVCVA in the convention business.
Forget the airport link-up, it did not happen for the monorail. (fwiw, the LVCVA should have taken care of that bck in the day.)
Forget downtown link up, that was puffery.
So, $55 million for a short trolley like system seems reasonable, but WHY put it underground if the LVCA already owns the land ? The boring seems like added cost, unless Elon is footing the bill somehow.
