Hi

Trying to work out a decent place to see the lights from.

Do you need to book in for the Eiffel Tower or can you turn up on the day?

Anybody with any thoughts on it?

Cheers

You can just show up and wait in line. I'm not sure they even take reservations. Do it on a weekday to avoid the crowds. It is worth it to do once. The Stratosphere is more fun but its location/view is much worse these days.

I did it once with my wife and wasn't very impressed.
Probably better to find a nice bar like Mandarin Oriental, Mandalay Bay, Rio or Stratosphere?

There was no queue.
If you do it, the you should be able to get a 2-for-1 voucher or similar.

Not sure this is something you should do with a wife/girlfriend but definitely take advantage of the 2-for-1 voucher if it's offered.

The restaurant/bar at the top of Mandalay Bay is better, and so is the Mandarin Bar on the 23rd floor there. And they serve drinks.

I went up there once on one of my first trips to Vegas and really like it. It was one of the few times I wished my wife was with me in Vegas as it was an experience I wanted to share.

I walked out of the Paris poker room (a *long* time ago) saw there was no line and jumped in. I'd definitely recommend it.

I've been up there twice and also went to the Eiffel Tower restaurant once. I'd recommend the experience, but not the restaurant. Food isn't bad at all, but even more overpriced than most other spots on the strip.

I checked on Ticketmaster, after fees the Eiffel Tower is $22 per person now.

You can ride the elevator in the coke bottle up and down or the Bellagio/Aria tram for free... both better options in my opinion

Not sure this is the correct website for seeking that type of advice. 😜

I've gone up the Eiffel Tower twice and loved it both times. If it's cooler weather, just know that the wind will be blowing about 25 mph up there so take a coat. My wife and I nearly froze to death last time.lol

Stay up there long enough to watch the Bellagio fountain show, it's so weird how quiet the music is up there but how loud the water is.

I think it's well worth the money if you love the view of the Strip at night.
