I too thought poofier at first but then that showed up a blank I ran other options and IIRC poopier was the only legal word available

My husband was on fire playing pool. It was fun to see. I couldn't focus on my shot. We had a great time though. Windy walk to dinner.

Sparrow+Wolf was very good, but I don't think it was worth the price, unfortunately. Also, it was extremely disappointing to see that they charged $5 for a bottle of tap water when we were spending $500 for dinner. Quite pathetic. Servers were excellent.

I took a few pictures of food and will do a write up in the fine dining thread eventually. The best dish was the oxtail hummus appetizer.
You can apply that to most things in Vegas.

Could not make a comeback last night. Just couldn't hit and folded the one time I would have. I was very surprised at the hands being played for raises and 3bets. I know most of the players from previous visits, but don't remember their being this bad. Time to adjust.

Spending a lot of today upgrading our Hilton Grand so we can take the family on vacation, etc. Long story, but worth it. Taking forever, though. I am starving.

Heading to lunch soon then Aria.

Bad beats, big suck outs…. Those don’t bother me. That’s poker, it happens. Eventually, before too long, it’ll happen again.

But NOTHING tilts me worse than folding winners, though.

the only time I ever get tilted is when we're in a multiway pot and there's a bet and a raise so I fold my two pair or bottom straight because obviously one of these guys has a monster and then at showdown I see it was pocket 7s that missed vs a pair of kings

still think overall I'm net positive overfolding in those situations than overcalling but it's still super tilting when you underestimate just how much your opponents are just donating and you gave them credit they didn't deserve

Yes agreed. 3 way pots where the second to act does something ridiculous and we make the correct fold that turns out not to be because they show themselves to be a total ****wit

Thanks everyone. Ended up eating at Ocean's One yesterday. Love that place. We were going to head to the Venetian to buy in late to the PLO tournament, but there was no line when we walked by so we sat at the bar and had a great meal. Tuna tartare, calamari, wings, a cheap piece of steak with fantastic mashed potatoes and good vegetables, four glasses of bad wine, two large Bailey's with 20% tip was $62! I took the bartender another $5, and without asking he poured Us in those huge glass of Bailey's.

Another great deal yesterday was $10 for a giant cup of fresh fruit at the corner of Harman and Las Vegas Boulevard. Delicious.

Headed over to the Aria and proceeded to get my ass kicked once again. I just could not hit anything when they were hitting everything.

3bet a guy pre with double suited aces, flop is 233, he has 3399. Lol. Got it all in pre-flop for $500 again with aces vs 44JJ. We ran it twice and he hit spades on the second board. I had As and another guy who was in for the first raise had folded spades.

Then they just kept hitting their straights and flushes, and I just could not do it.

At Encore now after a lazy morning. Playing NLHE on line for PLO.

Wow, and here I am spending 45 bucks on breakfast at the Paris cafe. The casino restaurants punish you for being lazy.

Unfortunately, got my ass kicked again. Seriously unbelievable. I did think of you guys with a few pictures on the way out. It was quite the show. There were four young hots girls heading toward us, but it would have been awkward to take their picture. It was like we were on a movie set for a new, hotter Charlie's Angels. Now we're sitting at the Venetian playing 1/2 pot limit Big O!!! Let's go.

So sorry you’re running bad. It really sucks when that happens in Vegas

Thanks. It has actually been amazing, the run bad, but we are meeting so many interesting people and seeing so many people we remember from previous trips.

The Sphere is seriously cool as part of the view.

Charlie's Angels had 3 chicks.

Where was this?

I know Charlie's Angels had four women, but it's what I thought of. These chicks were on fire. Very confident and very attractive. It was as if they were walking away from an explosion in a movie. I wish I had taken a picture.

The club line was in the Wynn. Maybe XS or something like that?

We got to bed about 5 a.m. and didn't get up until about 11. Played some Scrabble while drinking coffee in bed, then ran to OYO. Had a blast playing $10 blackjack at 3:2. My husband was down a ton, then won most of it back, so only lost $100. We have never been dealt so many 4s!

Walked back via Koval. Going to Pampas in an hour.
