For $13.99 it's more than alright. In fact, it's rumored to be Absolut and I'd believe it. Their more expensive option is supposedly grey goose and it tastes about the same. Tough to beat their value prop.

On point.

After the pool, TO and I went to drop off our drink cups in the room. When we got there our room key was malfunctioning so we headed back down to the platinum checkin to get some new ones printed. So glad we have that Visa card as the line for Gold/nonmember checkin had nearly doubled. Once we acquired new cards we decided to hit the flamingo poker room.

We rolled in to find two games of 1/2 running and a 3 person list. TO was still in shorts, bikini top and a lite cover up top and pretty much all of the OMCs at the table stopped sipping their coffees and said that they would be OK with adding a 10 seat. Unfortunately, they said that it was only if TO was the one sitting in it. Seeing as she was fairly buzzed and I had agreed to stake her for $100, she was down but the floor didn't oblige .

Rather than wait for a seat to open we decided to head back up to the room where we got a little side tracked from the poker plan. The beds in the GO rooms sure are comfy .... Rallying now and will hopefully be at the tables soon for some degen action.

The rumor is that Costco vodka is really Grey Goose, but that's made in France. Is there an American variety and non-American variety of Costco vodka?

There is a french Costco vodka which is Grey Goose, I have several friends who work for Costco corporate and they have confirmed.

OP, great TR so far. Whenever I have an upcoming LV trip I pay extra attention to the TRs and this one is delivering.

On the topic of shoes I usually bring 1 pair black dress shoes, 1 pair brown dress shoes, 1 pair sandals and 1 pair of new running shoes.

Traffic was a bit worse than expected getting to Aria on a Monday evening but we managed to make it through. Arrived, put my name on this list and headed off to Five50 for a light dinner.

The place gets a lot of love on here so figured it was overdue that we try it out. Ordered a spring veggie salad and the pigs and truffles pasta dish. Both we're pretty good. Salad was light, bright and citrusy though a little unbalanced and could have used more sweetness in the dressing and more dressing overall. Pasta was pretty solid, didn't amaze us but no complaints. Given that their known for their pizza, well probably give them another try at some point when we're hungry at the tables





Highlight of dinner was seeing Steve Aoiki walk up to the counter and order a slice. We're not usually celebrity whores, especially given that we live in LA, but we really like this guy as a performer and decided to go over and say hi. He was nice enough to take a pic with us too, very classy.



Now off to the poker room for drinks and hopefully some monies.

Correct. As bluff notes below, the more expensive bottle is grey goose from France while I believe the cheaper is Absolut produced domestically.
