My GF and I moved to the Huntridge/Crestwood area a few years ago, and we've really loved the neighborhood and discovering all the cool little restaurants, theaters, antique shops, etc.
This thread is to post your favorite downtown Las Vegas places.
Some of mine:
The Writers' Block, 519 S 6th St
website
One of the best bookstores to ever grace Las Vegas, if you're like me and love browsing books hours on end, this is the place for you. It also has a coffee shop/cafe. As we are both professors at UNLV, the GF and I spend a lot of time here for readings, etc.
It is a wonderfully curated store, with a large selection. If you go, tell the owner, Drew, that I sent you!

The Beverly Theater
website
Housed in the same building as the Writers Block, this is a new independent movie theater that boasts a fun, ever-changing and eclectic schedule of movies. There is also a rooftop bar/stage where they host readings and concerts. Great space. We just were there to watch the 2024 Cat Video Fest lol.

Tacotarian, 1130 S. Casino Center Blvd., #170
website
I'm not a vegetarian, but my GF is, so we come here often...and I gotta admit - it's damn good. Love the cauliflower ceviche and tacos al pastor. They also have great deserts.

Garagiste Wine Bar/Merchant, 197 E California Ave Suite 140
website
There are a few cool wine bars downtown, and this is just one of them. Lots of cool flights and specials if you join their club.

Esther's Kitchen, 1131 S Main St
website
Some of the best new Italian in the city, this is a hip neighborhood joint that is always packed, so a reservation is a must. Great food and wine, and right in the middle of furniture row, where you can hit all the cool mid-century modern shops before and after your meal.

There are so many more: Yukon Pizza, Mid-Mod Crisis, Ethel and Winnie's Downtown Diner, great pizza, sushi, Mexican, you name it.
