no... unless it's a freelance situation. I know the book keeper and the old manager from cheetas and when the group came in from california to buy the property, it is a clean slate... nothing ties the two entities together including staffing.
I assume all the the dancers from the old Library came to the new one much like with the OG and Sophia's. The club probably kept the girls from Cheetahs too to help fill out their line up.
I got kicked out of Cheetah's once for not buying enough drinks.
I'll miss it. For my second Vegas life (first one was in the 70's) it was the first strip club I'd been in. Shortly after Showgirls came out. Purely coincidental I'm sure.
There I was, sitting on a bench, minding my own business, and a girl sits next to me.
"I just got a boob job. Can you tell?"
"Ummm"
"Here, let me take my top off. What do you think?"
"Ummm"
"Squeeze them", grabs my hands and puts them on said boobs.
I really do strip clubs in Vegas, one quick trip to Chicas Bonita’s. That being said Cheetah’s seems like an institution in Vegas. It was the strip club in Showgirls and it’s the name of the great poker book,
“Positively Fifth Street: Murderers, Cheetahs, and Binion's World Series of Poker”. Ted Binion I believe met his girlfriend that ends up killing him there and Ted’s son takes McManus there after final tabling the main.
Oh well guess it went the way of the Dunes, Sands and so many other “landmarks”.
