Trying to find the best place to maximize my free drinks to bets while watching all the NFL games this Sunday.

I am almost considering getting a good seat in a large sportsbook, placing wagers on the playMGM app and just bringing in a tallboy can with me. All the research I have done points to no more free drinks anywhere and that you have to make $100+ individual wagers just to land a couple of tickets.

My plan is to wager around $400 total on the day.

I have had success at Flamingo as they are generous on the drink tickets for smaller wagers less than a C-note. Make a few $20 bets and throw a $2 bill to the person processing the wager for you.

How many tickets do they usually give you when you go this route? I don't mind even tipping $5-$10 if it means I won't have to keep getting up to get more tickets with more wagers.

Anyone have experience with the Westgate now that it has switched to tickets?

Westgate is the most player friendly book in every way(including drink tix) that's on or near the strip. Smells kinda funny tho.

Just make a few horseracing wagers bet 2wp on a horse tip a buck ask for a ticket easy game....more you do it friendlier they get with tickets...

At NYNY just need to have racing tickets in front of you and they will be drinks to you without drink tickets...they come faster if you tip 2 dollars or more.

^not anymore ever since the remodel you have to have a $50 bet to get 1 drink ticket, a actual ticket not your betting receipt like before. I don't really drink, but I would go out of my way to westgate to have a free beer during the games, now I have zero incentive to go and haven't been back since the change about 6-7 months ago. (also that smell is gone)

Wow really? $50 for just 1 ticket? I can't really see myself going out of my way to get there now.

How much are the drinks if you just buy them with no ticket? Any clue?

At Bellagio, drinks are the same as if you ordered them at the bar next to the sports book IIRC.

What worked for us in the past at Bellagio: Whenever you need a new beer, you walk to the poker room entrance next to the sports book and order from one of the poker room waitresses when they leave for the bar. They're prolly not allowed to do it, but it's a very easy $1-2 for them since they don't even have to bring the bottle to any table. You just trade bottle for bill when they walk by to bring the next round of orders to the poker room. And it's actually faster than ordering from your seat and having to wait for the waitress to make her round.

If paying ten bucks is okay then just make 2 hundred dollar bets. Ten bucks is the juice and you get tickets for making 2 hundred dollar bets. That should get you 2-3 tickets for each bet.

Well, it is off the Strip, but Sam's Town has a nice-sized sportsbook and gives you a drink coupon for every $20 you bet..but you have to request it at the time you are betting.

The drink coupons are only good for that date and expire at midnight..last time I was there around 10:00 pm I found about 20-30 of them around the sportsbook. The coupons are valid for drinks at the bar..

I don't know if they give drink tickets or not, but there is a William Hill sports inside Umami Burger in the SLS. There are lots of tv's in the restaurant and some on their covered patio. The food is solid and I don't remember the drinks being overly expensive. We have done March Madness there the past two years and it's worked very well.

You may call the book and find out if they give drink tickets or not.

You can count on 2 tickets the first time and then when you cash a ticket or place another wager with the same person, expect 3-4 more tickets. Flamingo has sways been good to me about drink tickets.

This isn't rocket science:

- Tip decently, including tipping the book employees
- ALWAYS ASK. Seriously. So many places don't give you tickets unless you ask. And you can always ask for more
- If you're low rolling, it doesn't hurt to place bets at different times, since sometimes they will give you one just for asking even if you only bet $20
- Go to lower end joints where they don't care as much
- Pick small rooms where the waitress has responsibility for part of the floor

Flamingo has been a good one for me. Ballys usually comps me fairly well, too. Venetian and Caesars are notably bad in my experience.

I like Bally's book though I kind of dislike the stadium arrangement. It's rarely crowded and the bar is right there at the top of the stairs. Just get up, walk ten steps, get your drink. As mentioned, a horse bet every thirty minutes of 10ish bucks will keep you swimming in free drinks. Plus, horse racing can be fun to gamble on anyway.

Seems like the best way to go if you were only betting for the purpose of drinking on the cheap would be to find a bet with a high tie probability and bet both sides of it.

Don't they give out free drinks at the slot machines any more?

Find a waitress, determine her heading, plop down into the next bank of machines and hit the reels once as she comes up.

Not worth it a jack and coke can be about $7- $9 at the west gate(probably a couple bucks extra on the strip) I am not a drinker so its a deal breaker for me.

Besides its sometimes watered down so hard your basically ordering an over priced coke.

I guess the smart thing is to byob I see people ordering dominos at the books so I imagine outside beer is fine.

Michelobs are so gross though I remember the light beer commercials they ran when I was in middle school about waiting 30 minutes until its cold or whatever. Got one when I was of age and almost puked ugghhh. I rather have an IPA or cheap ole house party keystone light, but that just me.

This trick works well at some places that have a wallgreens near by just have someone make an occasional beer run while everyone holds down the fort at the book.

Also things like ABC in the Miracle Mile mall, or go get stuff from your room.

Could also go sit at a bar with a halfway decent gameday special. Some of these do exist.

I never went there because I was too muck of snob, but Boulder is a blast. They have 5$ 5 bottle buckets of domestics all day on Sat and Sun. I was playing horses pretty heavy and giving my tickets away because I like the beers being on ice. Have went 3 weeks in a row, had a blast.

I don't think any Will Hill gives drink tickets. They are always a tenant and don't own the bar. Most aren't more than a betting window and some TVs.

I used to hit up the local PT's joints, or dive bars 'Chris's Place' the outlaw etc on warm springs, cab ride is less then $15 and tip the bartender $10, play some slow VP and voila free drinks all Sunday with every game and multiple TV's

I made a $2k bet on NFL once at a MGM property and didn't get any drink tickets.

I made a $300 bet on NFL at a MGM property and was asked if I wanted drink tickets.

to add to the story the 2k bet was on the 49ers. 300 on the Patriots. Maybe that's the reason?
