Caesars > Wyndham can be done online and my approval took seconds.
Wyndham > Caesars can also be done online but I seem to remember this took about 10 days.

NOTE (Since Status matching is rightfully being talked about as the year comes to an end):

Diamond attained with status match comes with:
Free Parking/Valet
No Resort Fees
VIP Check-in (includes free early check-in which is no longer standard for all guests, and they'll also usually give you a few hours late check-out. Website claims this is only for 7-star but experience tells me Diamond gets it too).
Diamond Lines (shows, cage, restaurants, etc)
Free $100 Dinner credit (1 meal)
2 Free show tickets per month (must be redeemed during the month and must be used within 3 days of redemption)
Spa Access (many are free, Caesar's is $20)

REQUIRES 15k tier EARNED:
Free Dubai/Atlantis stays
REQUIRES 25k tier EARNED:
Lounges (costs 1k rewards credits per person)

COMPs are based on play and appear to be ADT although host has told me that style of play and actual losses can be used to bump up comps:
Free rooms / travel / events
Play for Reward offers (Earn X RC and get free Amazon gift card, cruise, coach bag, whatever)
Comped room expenses (Spend your RCs before asking host to comp room charges because they'll take the RC first)

Little note here: You'll hear it said that you can't get meal comps and such from the pit anymore because "everything is by reward credits" but it's just not true. As far as I can tell, it's entirely at the pit's discretion but they definitely have comp cards they can fill out and distribute when they want. On that note, if pit ever asks if you're here alone, I'd suggest responding "Nope, my girlfriend is up in the room." If you say you're alone, you're getting one comped meal. If you're with someone, they'll take care of you both.

Okay done rambling. Hopefully that was useful info for someone.

Do you have to physically be at a Wyndham place, or staying in a room, to get these matches?

edit: Oy, I shoulda scrolled down before asking.

In regards to getting resort fees waived with diamond card - do the rooms have to be booked on the Caesars website or can I book them on any of the online websites (booking.com/etc) ?

You don't have to book direct to have the resort fees waved but they do offer a price match guarantee if you happen to find a lower rate through an agency website.

This is wrong, I got charged resort fees at planet Hollywood because I booked through a third party, I am diamond. Seems to depend on who you get at the front desk if they want to enforce it or not.

can anyone confirm this?

AFAIK, lounges = 1k RC per person/entry unless you have 25k tier+, at which time = free. And... Atlantis = no TC requirements, though they have some weird language to suggest you'll need to game at atlantis otherwise they might reverse the comp.

You probably could have gotten the resort fees taken off at check out. My only experience was booking at Ballys through a third party I didn't even have a diamond card until after I checked in and they took it off at check out. Maybe it's different for other properties but I've never seen any fine print that says you have to book direct.

Yes, you're correct about Lounges. I worded that wrong. 25k=free. 1kRC/pp = under 25k.

Atlantis has a whole page set up for it next year, where they're listing how gold / plat / diamond 15k / diamond 40k / Diamond 80k / etc qualify. For the purposes of this, I interpretted that to mean you'd have to have diamond and 15k for that tier, but I'm not sure what tier they'd put someone in who was diamond and not 15k. Here's the link:

Nope i spent about half an hour arguing with the front desk and the manager and still did not take it off.
Like i said though i think it depends on who you get at the front desk, Have also stayed at the Linq booking through a third party and they did not care. Just saying its not a guarantee that they will waive them when you book this way.

How long does the MLife Gold matching last? When I get to Vegas I'm debating grinding 120 hours at Aria for Gold or grinding like 70 hours at Caesars to maintain my platinum.

Also do they still do the matching if you're Canadian? I'm asking cause I couldn't get the toward rewards credit card cause of that.

Mlife Rewards staus drops one tier on September 30 of each year.

Canadians can get the Total Rewards credit card but if you use it in Canada you pay exchange and a small foreign exchange charge by the CC company. Also you have to pay by a bank account in the US or by mailing in a US money order from Canada for the points to count.

I'll post a link to application if you want. It might take me a bit to find it.

Don't ever argue stuff like that at the normal front desk. Go into the Diamond check-in room. The people in there have the power to do just about anything wrt your bill.

Weird. Last time they said cause I don't have a SSN I can't get it. Maybe they changed it or whoever was behind the desk didn't know what she was talking about. Anyways please do. Then I guess I might as well get MLife gold.

Did this as well, literally talked to 4 different people including the manager in the diamond area. It’s ok though they lost my business over something so tiny.

Anybody could review Total Rewards credit card - I was thinking to open it and put all WSOP buy ins on it. I play just small events so the total will be just 8000-10000$.

Is it worth it considering all the fees?

Here you go. You should notice that the application asks for a Canadian postal code if you go through the process. It is issued by Comenity Bank.

What's the fee? 2%? Wouldn't you be better off just putting normal non fee spend on there if you really want those points?

Can confirm that tier matching is alive and well at CET, got mine today. The agent told me it will be 2500TC to make it valid for 2020. So I turned that into a poker challenge and you see it here: https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/1...-card-1757498/

GentlemanJack: do you know if the 2500TC includes any TC bonuses they might be offering, or is it purely based on the base tier credits you earn?

answer: https://www.caesars.com/myrewards/pr...-upgrade-terms

bummer. i'm not going to grind another 2k in TC before EOY

Thanks for posting that. Looks like I made a non-GTO move and I should have waited until Dec 1 since that would only be 1250 TC requirement
