No idea, can't hurt to try. I have amex plat so that's where I get my status there from.

Heard i can use my diamond card to access hotel gyms, Anyone know if this is true and if so what are the best gyms?
Also have gold card for MLife so wondering if i can access those gyms as well?
Doubt any hotel gym has a squat rack or dead lift platform but might as well ask about that too

Brief Caesars’ owned gym reviews for Diamond card:

Caesars - the best gym in my opinion. Show diamond card at main spa desk and they’ll give you a paper pass to take to the gym where you sign in on a paper pad. There is never a card swipe. But there is no access to the spa without paying a fee ($20?). So no showers are available for gym users without paying for the spa. Free weight bench press, but unsure if the squat rack is the kind on a rail.

Planet Hollywood - Free access to gym and spa, but they do swipe your D card and check ID. No free weight bench or squat, but there is the kind on a rail.

Paris - Free access to gym and spa, but they do swipe your D card and check ID. Free weight bench press & squat rack I believe.

Cromwell - small gym in the back that is open 24 hours a day. No sign in or monitoring entry.

Linq gym is 24hrs with hotel key, so you can show up just before 7 and stay later. Caesars is the best overall quality but kinda crowded dont really like it. Linq, Ballys, and Rio are all decent and have different machines. Harrahs sucks but you have a good view of chicks at the pool from gym.

Paris recently remodeled their spa. I called once after they re-opened and was told that only seven stars gets free spa access.

Bally's gym and spa is still free with diamond though.

So is the Flamingo, which I haven't seen mentioned here yet.

...

Thanks for the update. I haven’t been to Paris gym in awhile since I prefer the Caesars gym.

The PH and Paris spa/gym are, or were, outsourced to Mandara, so I’m guessing that each card swipe costs Caesars some kickback to them.

https://www.wyndhamhotels.com/wyndha...3ADDCM1%3ASMLA (login to marriot and take ss of your account screen with it saying your plat elite) takes a few days for the status to match

then

https://www.caesars.com/total-reward...yndham_resorts

this then takes another few days.

then, if you really want you can go to borgata in ac and turn your TR diamond into MLife gold (GF's sister lives in philly so we're going to visit and im taking trip over to ac while they hang to do this actually.)

Summary article I wrote on turning Marriott Platinum into a bunch of different status, including Caesars Diamond. It links to all the other "how to" articles I put together on the topic.

Thanks for the advice. Will I get the perks (i.e. free $100 dinner) through this method?

Remember that there is no sales tax if you don't burn up the whole $100, so if you've figured you've spent 90 bucks, you still have 10 bucks left for ice cream or whatever.

Last year, I used the $100 diamond dinner to try Japanese A5 Wagyu for the first time at Gordon Ramsay Steak in Baltimore. $30/oz. I would never pay money for 4 oz of that, but I will pay $20 bucks to try it for the first time ever.

I definitely enjoyed eating the A5. I've had American Wagyu, or American Kobe, and it's nowhere similar. But for me, still not worth the high price tag. I'd rather have a great ribeye for $60 than 2 oz of A5.

I guess I know what I'll do with this year's dinner.

I wish they would allow us to spend it on room service. It's horrendously overpriced and most of the money would stay in-house to CET, so it would be very beneficial to them.

Thanks for the responses.

Are there any other hotel / gambling status matches that can be obtained in Vegas with the Marriott Platinum Elite and now Diamond Total Rewards?

For those of you that play VP at the Rio to chase Tier Credits, a warning that the pay tables on $1 VP were reduced last week. On Tuesday Bonus Poker was 8/5 and Double Bonus 9/7/5, the same as they've been for years. Returning Thursday, one coin had been lopped off a full house on BP, and one coin was lopped off a flush on DB.

There are no longer playable games at the Rio.

Other than the quarter machines at the Cromwell that accrue Tier Credits at a 20% rate I'm not aware of any playable VP games at CET joints.
