Signed up this morning using Marknfw's code. The process went like this. PM'd him and he sent me an e-mail with the info which puts my info in the system as his referral. He then sent me the contact name's e-mail and I e-mailed her. Here are the 2 offers she sent me below:

1. $395 and a waived initiation fee of 95.00

2. $590 for two years (2X295) and the one time initiation fee of 95.00. This will lock in a $295 annual renewal rate for the third year and beyond

I registered and used the special promo code she gave me to get the above offers. I chose offer #2. It says once you are locked in to this it is $295 a year going forward.

In looking over the things they offer the Dell 45% off is very appealing as I have to order a new computer system soon. That should pay for this cost. 7 nights in Vegas during the Series should also save me $175 on Resort Fees.

Will report back on how long it takes for Diamond to show up. Not going until June so it shouldn't be an issue.

So you guys who are paying $400 per year to nit it up and save $28 per day: have you ever thought maybe you might want to have Internet in your room (removed if you opt out of resort fee)? Especially during the WSOP when the Nevada online games are actually going? I know many don't stay in their room on Vegas trips, but if you're actually going to stay a week, it might be nice to chill in the room and play stack-a-donk once in a while, for a change of pace.

I'm all for saving a few bucks, but not sure that getting rid of in-room internet on an extended trip is GTO strategy.

If you want me to bring you a doggie bag out from the Diamond Lounge let me know. I will also wave when you are waiting in line to register for the WSOP as well after I've gone straight to the front of the Diamond line. Just kidding. Already pay monthly for internet on my IPAD so this isn't an issue for me.

Haha I laughed at the doggie bag. Guess I'll just have to hope they throw a bone here and there to us low-rolling platinum cardholders.

Pre-regging for the Colossus like anyone with a brain is doing. Never had a line problem with any other event. And if I need a drink or 6, I'm never far from a bartop VP machine in Vegas.

if you have anything resembling a decent cell phone provider the internet you can teather from your phone is better than the ****ty in room internet anyway.

the online nevada games suck until you're playing cheeseburger stakes.

also bull the dell coupon is really nothing special. you can find similar deals online often.

i havent done this yet bc i have rooms during the wsop that arent at cesars property. but if deal is still the same in the winter when i go back i'll do it. i can easily spend 30-50 nights a year in vegas and without these bs fees their rates are usually the best. skipping lines, the lounge and getting the borgata black card out of this would just be a bonus.

I think they only upgrade at Borgota if you are a new card holder

I was able to upgrade my Borg card to black in Feb by showing a Diamond card. You don't get any of the new card holder perks (slot dollars, free room). But I'll take skipping lines, $10 buffets, and access to the lounge for top shelf drinks.

Ok, new question (still trying to talk myself into this)-

Can I use a Diamond card to get matched at Venetian or Cosmo? Already Platinum at MGM.

That will keep your intra-machine variance down and you shouldn't have to reload as often.
Correct. And it sounds easy but it gets confusing, especially when doing odds to make sure of the same payout. The machine also turns your donts off on come outs so you have to make sure they are on. And the chips for betting gets annoying when you are trying to bet.

You used to be able to but I don't think anymore. It used to be: Diamond gets you gold at Venetian and gold gets you platinum at Cosmo.

Gold at Venetian got you the gold lounge which was ok and late checkout and strip view. Then platinum at Cosmo got you a bunch of stuff but they cut all that out.

Blah! So confirmed, no other property in Vegas will upgrade you with a CET Diamond these days?

I did this at FW when they had the machine there. I got the hang of it really quickly. The hardest part was trying not to draw attention to what I was doing. There were only 5 seats at my machine, so taking up 2 at a time I stuck out like a sore thumb.

So, can you play machines with 2 of your own players card stuck in them? For some reason I always just assumed only one would be active at a time.

It would be easy enough to find out. They usually have credits counters on them.

I haven't tried using both of my cards. I feel like they might cancel each other out like it would at an actual table but probably not. I use my gf card and she gets points too. I do want to try using both of my cards.

The card doesn't care what specific bets you're making, just logs your playthrough amount.

So you can essentially get tier credits for both betting on and against the same event? (With obviously the 1/12 or whatever it is risk of losing both) I know nothing about craps, so excuse me if the odds are a little off.

Does anyone know roughly the $1 in to TC earned ratio?

1 coin in to 1 tc unless it's video poker then I think it's 5 to 1, plus bonus tcs for 250, 500, 1000, and 5000 tcs in a day which doubles what you earned. 5k tcs in a day gives you Diamond in a day cause you get 10k bonus tcs

All the craps machines I saw in Vegas had signs on them that they don't earn points.

It is actually 1 Tier Credit for every $5 wagered through a slot machine, and it's 1 Tier Credit for every $10 wagered through a video poker machine. As far as other games such as black jack, and craps, etc., it varies based on the table game you are playing, how long you play, and your average bet. If you have a good relationship with your host, you can find out your rating after you play and see how much you earn. Poker varies by property.

As far as the bonus Tier Credits it is based on how many you earn in one day and is as follows:
500 Tier Credits = 125 Bonus Tier Credits
1,000 Tier Credits = 1,000 Bonus Tier Credits
2,500 Tier Credits = 5,000 Bonus Tier Credits (Earns Platinum in one day)
5,000 Tier Credits = 10,000 Bonus Tier Credits (Earns Diamond in one day)

You also earn 1 Tier Credit for every $1 spent on hotel accommodations, 1 Tier Credit for every $1 spent at certain restaurants, and 1 Tier Credit for every $1 spent at certain stores.

Thanks guys... I'm pretty well versed on all the TC in a day bonuses and what not though, I just never play table games (or anything but poker), so I was wondering if anyone had anecdotal evidence on craps since I can do it with a buddy and basically bet against each other to minimize variance. Anyone know what the TC would look like for this?

I'm trying to get Diamond before the WSOP for the lounges and to cut registration lines, and it seems like I might miss by a bit, so I'm considering what the EV cost would be to try to bridge the gap via as little -EV gambling as possible.
