Welp, a lot of my comps at nice hotels disappeared. Guess they fixed the bug.

All of my comped nights at Caesars disappeared. All weekends anywhere completely disappeared, and most nights at Bally's and Rio disappeared. I only have a few random days at Harrah's and Linq comped now, which is still more than I had before.

At this point its prob safe to assume any weirdness on the TR website is due to incompetence from their dev team.

Free nights at the Cromwell popped up on mine, obv I snap clicked. Hadn't had that available in ages.

Is the Founders card still a thing that provides instant diamond status? I've got a tier score of around 4k and I'm planning a 5 day stay at a CET property which will cost about $200 just in resort fees.

No such thing as Free nights anymore with $41.95 +tax resort fees.

Back several years ago you could get actual free rooms.

Yes-but give yourself about 2-3 weeks for the status to show after you make the request on the FoundersCard site

If it's just the one trip within a year, it may not be worth paying 400-500 to save 200.

I am diamond at CET.

I got diamond from the Founders Card. I paid $590 for two years. You can get the $295 annual rate if you pay two years in advance. You will have to negotiate this, and then you get it for life.

I have done this for two friends.

Don't forget that there are additional savings you get as a Diamond beyond the resort fee abatement.

I just stayed at the Caesars Palace for 6 nights for $250 in the Palace Tower (3rd level of room of the 5)rooms. This was due solely to Diamond, and not due to play.

I also cut the line at Bacchanal Buffet. 5 mins. vs. 1 hour or so for regular line.

You also get a free 2 night stay at Atlantis every year.

You also get free parking.

You get $100 free meal each year.

It has nothing to do with diamond but it's great saving on the scam resort fees.

I also think Atlantis is 4 days free unless it's been changed.

Please do not ask for referral codes here. I should also note that the Founders Card Diamond does not include access to the Diamond Lounge without enough to play to cover $10 per person in points.

I think his point is that he is not Diamond so he must pay resort fees on the free room. That's still a very cheap room but I can see it annoying some people.

Total Rewards is very generous right now in Las Vegas. Log in if you have an account and search some dates. You may find comps that did not come from a mailer/offer.

Yes, I have noticed this lately, I just checked again and see comps for 5 different hotels on a bunch of dates.

And I have not played anything there in months, since they banned me from the sports betting app, I am allowed in the casino and to play anything, just not the app. I would have made Diamond just from that. I only go to Johnny Rockets every week or so and burn some comps.

I live in Vegas anyway so don't need any rooms.

How do you get banned from an app?

They got tired of me pounding their soft numbers that they were too slow changing.

What did the $250 cover if you didn't have to pay resort fees? I'm guessing the room wasn't comped? Shouldn't it be, if you are Diamond?

Being diamond doesnt comp your room. It comps your resort fees.

He bought Diamond from Founders Club. Free rooms are based on play.

It is possible to be Diamond, give respectable action, and still not get free rooms. It's also possible that he had free rooms at value properties but wanted to stay at Caesars where he got a discount equivalent to the cost of a room at a Caesars property a star lower.
