Hey Ducks If you make 6.000 TC's by March 31 then you don't have to pay the 10.00 same for the rest of the 3 quarters the way they are throwing promo's at us it's easily attainable.

Anyone here have issues not getting invited to seven star after hitting the 150k points? I'm considering grinding it on video poker + playing cash on wsop this year but I really don't want to sink that much time into it if they don't like how I earned the points and stiff me on the invitation.

but he did like 100k got last 50k thru vp using double tier days playing 2500 get 5k type days.

I never heard of double tier days. I guess you need 100k tc to get those.

The whole month of Feb is double TC's plus 2 days this month are 4x Gift wrap up points they normally don't advertise it you just have to know about it.

The Gift that keeps on giving (LOL I don't mean HSV) 2 free nights at Flamingo, Free Lounge food, Free Food credit with no maid service. I win 605 for the 2 nights 2x TC's and wed was 4x Gift points i win all the way around great to be Diamond.

Yeah, but this is the first time I've heard of a 2x tier promotion since I've been in Total Rewards.

its not a promo its always running....u can look it up its like play 2500 tier one day get bonus 5k tier.... but u have a 24 hour period to do it... ppl do it in VP to minimize how much they have to plauy.

Yeah this is the normal way people grind diamond/7s but I think it's very worth looking into if the 2x tier credits for February stack with the normal triple points for 2500+ in a day. Would potentially make grinding video poker very good this month. I highly doubt they stack though

I put this TR here because it's of no interest to anyone but Diamond hunters. To make use of the tier credit bonus for February to pick up 2500 tc and make Diamond after the bonus, I went to Vegas on the three-day President's Day weekend. Arrived on Saturday to find that WSOP Circuit is going on at the Rio, played a satellite, won a seat, which they pay out in cash. +315. Tried Bellagio 1/3 after swearing off that place years ago. It's worse. Not going back, although I won 160. Ran great, made quad 6's, won with AA, etc.

BTW, the craps machine at the Rio does pay tc - at 1 tc/$200. LOL

Started the 2500 tc grind at Rio BP. After 2 1/2 hours, came away with 692 tc for a cost of -110, down from a peak of +600. Ran very well, quads 7 or 8 times, a few boats, no royals. Tried Megabucks to see if it paid tc/$5 and it
seems like it did. With a $3 push if gives 300 on the countdown meter after 1 push, and then 800 after the second. For people that don't know, Megabucks is a progressive system linking reel slots all over NV. Starting jackpot is 10 million. Starting with $90 (left over from the BP) I ran it up over $600 at one point and ended at +120 after 20 minutes, netting 200 tc. Ran very well here too. It gets freaky if the first real is the Megabucks symbol. It makes a crazy sound and turns the lights off on the machine. Gets your adrenaline moving for sure.

When I got to PHo I needed another 1608 tc to hit my goal. $210 into the famed DSTP machine, and I start hot on 3 play right off the bat. Ran it up over a thousand, then switched to 10 play. I figured I would burn $300 then come back down. At the high, I had over $1800. When it cooled off I backed down to 5 play or 3 play. When it got hot again, I would move back up. I stopped when the counter read 1611 tc - 1 hour and 10 minutes after starting! Cashed out for +486.

Verified at the TR desk I had 2503 tc for the day. The employee even mentioned the promotion, and that I would be Diamond after the bonus. End result, ran very hot to make Diamond very quickly, no royals, but +$496.

Final note: first time I had played DSTP for more than 10 minutes. I can see how it could easily become addicting. I had to force myself away from the machine after making the tc I needed. Not gonna lie, when I was drawing 3 to a royal and I got a 10x multiplier, it was exciting. A hit would be 40 grand, PER LINE!

As most already know, but some don't.. Tr is running a double TC , even double bonuses , all February , you have to opt in on the TR email/app

Question regarding comped rooms:

Earned Diamond for the first time in early December, buddies and I were planning on MM and had good offers, so I booked. A friend's going to be in town this week for a wedding and had an extra bed Thursday, so I booked a flight, with return Saturday. We were just going to pull an all-nighter, but out of curiosity I tried to book another room through the TR website for Friday. Usually it will give me the offers, but then when I go to book, it will say something like, "sorry, you can only have one offer booked at a time." Well behold, this time it let me book, so I now have to separate trips booked with comped rooms.

So question is, is this a Diamond perk, or is it something weird in the system and they're going to try to cancel one of them? Cancelling the MM would be horrendous. For what it's worth, I never actually book through an offer code....I just go to "Book Now" on the website.

I think it was just a system glitch that prevented you from booking. You shouldn't have run into any issues.

I don't think it was a glitch; it happened a few times, and I remember the message pretty distinctly saying that I already had an offer booked, and could only book one at a time.

recently got a email promo to get free diamond status again after may, if i spent 5k or more on the TR visa.

Couldnt you just purchase something over 5k then return it?

I only read back a couple if pages so sorry if I missed it, but does anyone know how to confirm that you are enrolled in the double tc February thing? I'm pretty sure I did but I'm not seeing it on my offers.

I've done it this way for years; the "invitation" condition is meant for people who have stuff like outstanding markers, etc.

The real concern is earning 7star, then finding out your benefits have been slashed after the fact (like what happened this year).

They only extend you to the following quarter.

6k by 3/31 Diamond access through June 2018, 12k by June 30th gets access through Sept 2018, etc

I seem to be getting an extraordinary amount of emails from them lately, like 3x per day. Anyone else feel like their martketinfis in overdrive? Are they trying to make us feel like we have so many offer options after they hosed Diamond members by announcing new lounge tier in 4th quarter?

I wouldn't be at all shocked if at some point in the not too distant future they announce that diamond is now 25K points. It kind of makes sense as far as re-calibrating their tiers since there has been such a great increase in the ways one can earn tier points in recent years. I'm guessing its not nearly as exclusive as it once was.

Totally agree. I think this is their way of phasing everyone into embracing the increase since people want ALL the benefits for the tier they earned.

Maybe they will go back to waiving resort fees for Platnium too if they increase all the limits? I occasionally have delusional thoughts...
