Bonuses are credited at the time their earning period ends. Think about it. You get the daily bonus after you hit 500 tc's (or whatever it is). The February bonus doesn't get credited until the end of February.
Room rates have nothing to do with what kind of card you have (7 stars maybe exception).

Like you said, you get reward credits for using it. But for most purchases it's only 1% back, and that return has to be used at CET. If you have any other card that gives a return you are probably better off using one of those.

I tried to do it several weeks ago, but couldn't remember my login info for Wyndham. When I tried to reset my password the Secret Question was something about my wife. Are you sure you're offer isn't for Reward Credits? I don't if ever seen Tier Credits as a Visa benefit. I never really pay attention to their card offers though.

It was tier credits. That’s why I immediately opted in. I normally wouldn’t spend $2000 in 28 days, but with all these trips it will be easy. Lol I deleted email after I opted in and got confirmation, but I’ll see if I can pull it up on my TR app.

I ended up renewing my Founders Card after all since I have a week long trip planned later this year. I was downed to Gold today. I contacted FC and they said you have to re-opt-in for Diamond status, it's not an automatic renewal.

You called when? You called FC and your CET status changed right away? The email I got from them when I re-opted in said that I needed to wait and to specifically not call because they can not expedite the process.
Status renewal around Jan 31st every year is what I meant, not talking about Founders Card, which I didn't even know what that was until checking it out right now.

And today I am Platinum, because I have the Visa card. Which makes me wonder why I was Gold yesterday. Get it together CET.
I think someone asked earlier about the February double tier credit bonus for poker. I stopped by total rewards and they confirmed it doesn't count for Keno, Poker and Sports betting.
