Do the 2x tier credits in February work with poker?

Is anyone able to confirm yes or no without a good host that actually knows their stuff. The people at the total rewards desks are the dumbest individuals in the world (and that's says a lot) and will say anything just to get you to leave because there is no repercussions for them if they are wrong.

I've asked the same questions at different rewards desks the same day and got opposite answers multiple times.

The terms and conditions mention table games and slots but nothing about sports book or poker. I assume they will just match whatever posts to your account but it seems that they have the technology to differentiate between different types of tier credits since for the Quest, they don't offer anything for poker anymore.

I will go hard in Feb and will hope for the best but it will be a real kick in the nuts of poker is somehow excluded.

Also, I am making a run for the 25K this year to get diamond lounge for all of 2019 but have a feeling that they are gonna switch to a 6 month period instead of a 12 month period starting in 2019 and I will get screwed once again by Caesars.

I don't keep up with all these reward systems very well - don't play enough - but I have a free meal every 2 weeks on my card. Is that standard for some minimum level of play?

It's worth it to you to risk that much money for the Diamond Lounge? Seems like it would be cheaper to spend the ten bucks for the mediocre wings when you want them. I usually seem to be in a good game or in transit somewhere at 4 pm, and by 4:30 the wings are all gone anyway.

FYI regarding the 1K TC per night promotion for 2018: I’ve been told by a credible source at Total Rewards that if you pay your hotel stay with Reward Credits that this will void the tier credit bonus. This sucks for me because I already paid for a 5 night stay with RC a few weeks ago for which I will now presumably not get 5K TC.

I successfully paid RC for the similar 1K TC per night promo from 2017 and have already been credited the tier credits, so this seems like a change in policy. Almost a bait and switch.

No word yet on what they do if you pay partly with Reward Credits and partly with credit card.

A quick question regarding the 1k TC per night promotion: Last november, I booked a 4-night stay in Vegas for this coming February. I received the email about the 1k TC bonus per night after I had already booked my trip. Do I need to apply a promo code or anything to get the bonus TC for this trip? Thanks in advance.

If you are paying more than some minimum amount (I think it was $28, but I'm not sure) for each night, then you can probably get away with just calling the reservation line and having them apply the code. If you have some nights comped or below the minimum value, you may need to re-book your trip and pay for each night. That happened in my case for a trip in February. I had some nights comped which would not apply. So, I cancelled the reg and re-registered with the code and ended up paying about $150 more for 4 nights at the 1000 tier point bonus. I feel like that's a small price to pay for those tier credits.

There is a promo code. Something like "new year new empire promotion" should be onscreen in a little box when you are booking. You also get a discount on the rooms.

Assuming you have free cancelations, it is probably worth it to cancel and re-book.

Yup, I called Total Rewards and it looks like you are correct. Although she couldn't confirm on her screen that I will get the bonus, she said as long as I clicked the link in the email and booked through that link (it had the promo code prefilled in) that I should get the bonus. Thanks!

If this was recent id call the hotel you stayed at and tell them you asked to pay with your credit card for that stay so you can save you rewards credits for the diamond lounge
They can reverse the creditd and charge your card

I got the email for the 1k tiers each night you book. Waited til now to book 6 different cheap 1 night stays but now read the fine print saying you have to book by Jan 31st. Which i saw beforehand but i thought that i had til the end of 31st but now after actually reading it the fine print makes it sound like i had to be already booked by the 31st. i just put it off thinking i had til the end of today/end of the month/end of the 31st, pretty much the only chance i had at keeping my diamond this year too.

Anyone think it means til the end of the 31st?

Im calling tomorrow but like someone already stated their employees are useless and all seem to never be informed at all.

I didn’t read the fine print, but have assumed it was through the end of the month that you need to book it by.

If I recall, if you’re opted in, you get some visual confirmation when you book the room nights indicating that the New Room New Empire promotion has been applied. At least that’s what I recall when I booked through the app.

For anyone losing diamond, make sure to register a Wyndham account and match your diamond status today. At the very least you’ll have Wyndham diamond for the rest of the year, and possibly a chance to match back to CET diamond after today’s expiration. The status match is just a web form with instant matching. I’m hoping this will save me a FoundersCard renewal.

What kind of idiotic promotion would list 1/31 as a cutoff date and not include 1/31? Oh wait, this is Caesars. My bad.

So am I reading the double points in February promo correct in that they double daily tier credit bonuses (#10 in T&C). Basically if I earn 2,500 credits in a day I would get the 5,000 extra points and it would double for 15,000 TC or diamond in a day by earning only 2,500 credits.

Ditto, but you wouldn't get the doubling of the Quest bonus because you won't get those until after March 31.

Not a big deal. Seems like a good deal for diamond to only have to earn 2,500 credits. What's the -EV on that like ~$300?

Maybe, but with average variance running from -2000 to +2000. No 4000 credit winners gets you near the bottom, and near the top if you get one.

Called in because obviously their site is not working properly like usual. Lady was pretty much useless as usual and also told me there was nothing she could do since it had to be booked by me online to receive the 1k tiers. I then had to explain to her that was impossible the website doesnt work (it rarely ever does) and it was getting close to midnight and the promo ending. She pretty much said a lot of people were calling in about the same problem and someone would be getting back to me within 48 hours.... She did say she would put it in the notes though saying i called in before the promo ended and i couldnt book due to their failure of a website. I find it pretty convenient they run a sweet Tier promo and their site s h its the bed, classic caesars.

Ill post if anything changes but looks like im SOL.

I just tried to match back, website says it was successful but no change on total rewards side. It said it would be updated within 7 days, so here’s hoping .

I’ve been told that it does apply to poker. I haven’t asked myself, but someone told me that Ryan Bishop from Caesars Poker confirms that it applies to poker.

Yeah I just did the same, it said our Tier status be updated to Diamond within 7 days, that was nice, thanks a lot.

I asked the Supervisor at TR Booth in CP and she says she believes poker is included but wasn't 100 percent she took my number and said that marketing department would give me a call but did that ever happen nope typical TR Idiots anyway if it does hold true that the TC's are doubled for FEB then I will be at CP doubling away the whole month...Now my next question is if they're doubled then do you get the bonus at 7.5 hours when you hit 625 TC's? You're supposed to get an additional 100 TC's?
