Yeah, I don't see any way they can guarantee a continued relationship with CET, but this isn't the first year that they have offered this, so I don't see any reason why they would discontinue the relationship. Gamblegamble!

If you're asking if the benefit is redeemable only once, then yes, it's confirmed that you keep your diamond status with your continued FC membership. There were comments to that effect in the comments section, where people were pleased that their diamond status had automatically been extended for this year.

Confirmed Diamond after FoundersCard signup through Mark. I have a code if anyone is interested that is $0 sign up fee and $395 for the year.

I was nervous about the 2 year membership for ($700) in case CET discontinues the deal. I figured I would start with 1 year.

reading other people's TRs on another forum, it seems that there are now lines at all of the diamond lounges that can range from 45 minutes to 90 minutes just to get in. I guess between the Founder's card and the new Tier bonuses that CET is handing out, it is easier than ever to get to diamond. Not trying to be a debbie downer, just want people who may be considering this (like I am) to know that there may be some downside

Yeah its worth it for the resort fees alone. Every CET property in Vegas is now 25/nt plus tax. It pays for itself after just 15 nts/yr.

I was just at Caesars in Las Vegas and skipped a 1 hour line at the Bacchanal Buffet with Diamond card. Also got priority seating and free beer/wine.

Not sure about AC, but definitely worth it in Vegas.

Q for anyone who has taken the accelerated path to Diamond in the past: Do you get the $100 dining voucher immediately? I just bought my way in with FC and will be in Vegas later this month, will I be able to, for instance, get a $100 voucher and get in to Bacchanal when we show up?

Did you use your $100 celebration voucher the previous year? If so, that would be the case.

As soon as your status shows Diamond you should be immediately eligible for the $100 voucher. Upon April 1, you'd eligible for another since TR's calendar years go till end of March for tier statuses.

No, this was my first year (in awhile) getting diamond. But given my overall experience with TR reps, it's entirely possible they just didn't know what they were talking about.

Been about 5 days since I joined FC and requested Diamond. Total Rewards web site still shows Gold status. How long did it take everyone for it to show Diamond? I know it's only been a few days and the website says allow up to several weeks, but it seems like everyone else was being upgraded in 2-3 days.....

When I did it I had a trip booked already. When I got to the hotel I was Diamond, even though when I'd checked the website the night before it didn't reflect that. I went with all my founderscard info ready to show them at the Diamond check in, in hopes that even if it hadn't kicked in yet they would still waive the resort fees.

It took 3 days for mine. I received my welcome email from FC on the 5th and arrived in Vegas on the 8th.
