Got an email stating that I will earn 1000 Tier Credits per night staying at a CET property if I reserve my hotel stay before October 30. I can book as far in advance as late next year.

This will get me my diamond in Feb without the need to go the slot route.

i didnt get the email about the change for diamond clubs.... All my tier is from poker in over 44k for the year tho.

This is absolute bull****. I made diamond for the first time in like may mostly though poker and taking advantage of the tier bonus promos. I now have 18k tiers but I literally have played almost zero at CET since getting diamond, had I known this I would've been going for 25k the whole time. I mainly go to the diamond lounge for drinks, granted it would suck real bad if they made having to pay 10 to get in but I would still go as I usually drink probably at least 100 worth of alcohol when I go.

I haven't got the email so hopefully they are doing it on a account by account basis.

I doubt it is account by account basis...

I would assume this applies to all diamond customers, who knows could be exceptions based on casino location, your location or a variety of other factors.

We will never figure out the logic to determine who got emails about it or why different offers were presented to get you to that 25k if you aren't, there are just to many unknown factors about how caesar's marketing works.

Just because you didn't get the email, doesn't mean that the change doesn't effect you. This is for all diamonds stuck between 15K and 25K.

I'm having a hard time getting a straight answer if this goes into effect Jan 1st or Jan 31st. I've heard both answers from different employees working at the Total Rewards desks in LV. I've had one particularly bright employee say Jan 1st and then within 60 seconds change her mind and say Jan 31st.

Of all the CET employees in LV, the ones who work the Total Rewards desk are the nut low. I would not trust them with the register at a fast food place or with a rake in my yard.

I feel like when CET marketing decided to pretty much hand out diamond to anyone with a pulse and it blew up in their face. Now the people like me who actually played a ton to earn it rather than having a status level match from other casinos, founders card, etc. are **** of luck. It sucks too because had I known I could've got to 25k fairly easily but now theres pretty much no way ill get another 8k tiers in 2 months. Also after pulling a stunt like this by giving no notice at all whats to say they don't simply just up it again in a few months down the line to 50k or whatever.

I have no problem with them raising it, its the fact they give basically no notice on the change. I still havent received an email or any notice at all lol.

I think Diamond qualify is still 15k but for Diamond lounge you will need 25k tier credits or have to pay even if you are Diamond.

All you have to do is stay there 15 nights. Nice. Wish they'd send me an email like that.

I am only gold with around 1400 tier credits. My first and only stay at a CET property was for the WSOP where I stayed a week and only played cash and tournaments poker.

Hey, this looks like I could use it to close the gap in Tier Credits and make sure that I have 25,000 before the end of the year.

Booked seven nights in December for a total cost of $193. That leaves me about 250 tier credits shy of 25k. Might end up cancelling some of them but I did want to book the offer while it was still available.

NJ and NV/DE merging player pools in online poker.. Word is 6-9 months, if they get it done before June 1(which would make sense for wsop) then i think i have a shot at making seven stars from just poker.

Is this only with the promo code, NRNE17TR, for new rooms? This doesn't work for me when booking for a normal room. I'm planning on going to Vegas in December for 6 days, and am a little less than 7,500 tier credits away from Diamond, so this promo would make it a lot easier to get.

I sure hope this isn’t a typo and “1000 Tier Credits per night” is supposed to read “1000 Reward Credits per night”

They’ve been known to give $10 in F&B comps per night which is equivalent to 1000 Reward Credits. They’re doing this now at some properties for forgoing housekeeping services for example.

Aren't tier credits >= reward credits? I.e. at the worst a tier credit is equal to a reward credit

When you earn them via play. If they're giving them to you in a promo they can give you whatever they want, tc, rw, or both.

I have several upcoming reservations and was thinking of cancelling them and rebooking with this code for nicer room and make Diamond this year, along with $100 dinner comp, but I guess that dream is dead.

i get tier credits but i never earn rewards credits they are 2 separate things. reward credits are comps.... tier credits are just for status and have no redemption value.

The rooms I booked are at Harrah's Las Vegas and the Rio. Basically the cheapest ones I could find, though I had to alternate between places since I apparently bumped into some maximum reservation limits as I already had comp rooms booked at Harrah's and Rio in November. I figure if I'm going to drive my player rating into the ground I should book as many freebies as possible while I still can.

I double-checked my confirmation printouts, the promo code was applied. It wouldn't give me any comp rooms with this promo code, whereas I could get comp nights without it, but right now this is my cheapest, lowest variance, lowest effort way of getting those 7000 tier credits before the end of the year.
