well, I know of a quirky guy at Horseshoe Baltimore that made 7star by playing mainly (90%+) poker.

back then, Horseshoe gave 50tc per hr and had great poker promos.
he regularly had 10hr days thus 500tc + 125tc bonus.
and had some 1000tc days to get 1000tc bonus. (you only need 75 days of that to make 150k tc for 7star.)

but he was banned from the Horseshoe in Nov of that year for ignoring the Floor's repeated orders to shut up.
he kept on yelling/cursing at a player at his table. (I was there in the room and wrote about this in the Horseshoe thread.)

he finished his 7star run at harrahs and/or ballys Atlantic City poker rooms.

so yes, you can get a 7star invite by playing mainly poker and with a black mark on your record (being banned from Horseshoe poker room.)

Maybe via poor payback slots. But it can be done relatively cheaply. For example, the 9/6 JoB machines at Ballys (LV) are $25/TC. Playing perfect (99.54% payback), it would cost $17,250 to get 150k TC (not including bonuses).

I think you would need to hit a lot of royals on those machines. I tried them once for sng's and lost a thousand bucks in the blink of an eye. Less than 30 minutes.

So if 17k theoretical loss would do it from VP then if they are making 75k off of me shouldnt be a worry. It is online poker not live. So i would be worth more to them than a person doing it thru vp then.

Not sure if they would withhold the invite because you got it mostly playing online. Even though you're raking so much they really don't value poker players. Same reason they don't give you anything for playing WSOP events even though you're paying $100+ dollars in rake per event.

Video poker by far the cheapest way to get 7star but most I've come across got it from playing slots or baccarat.

6,000 tier credits away from diamond. Would it be more economical to shoot for 3-1000 days or 1-2500 day? Any recs? I am in the Illinois/Indiana market if that matters.

Am I the only one kinda pissed that I put in the hours/money getting diamond earlier this year and like as soon as I finally reach diamond CET pretty much just starts handing it out to everyone with a pulse lol.

Well if you EARN Diamond in 2017 then you get it from the point you earn it through all of 2018. The tier matches end after Jan of 2018 I think, and don't seem to be offered until the second half of the year.

I will say that I'm a little bothered by the tier credit offers that are not identical for everybody. This month for example I got an email offer to grant 250TC bonus any day in Sept that I earned 500 TC in a day. The usual bonus for this is 125TC.

A friend showed me his same email which granted 500TC bonus any day in Sept where he earned 500TC in a day.

I suppose that the bonus amount was based on our respective current Tier Scores, mine being higher, but this seems a bit unfair.

Yeah. I don't technically 'need' it to get to Diamond as I have 30K TC already, but getting to Aspiration level 1 would be much much easier if I got some of these other TC boosters.

68 TC/hr for 15 hours in a single day might be enough to get me to play some super long poker sessions. Knowing that I'm "only" getting 51/hr disincentivizes me, even though it's more than the usual 42.5/hr.

I just got my bonus tier credits from this summer's quest and it makes me diamond again. But the website says my status is through Jan 31, 2018. I don't remember if it did that last time I made diamond, and then on feb 1, they extend diamond status thru Jan 31 of the next year, based on 2017 tier score? I sure I hope I don't lose it on Jan 31. I'll probably only get 1-2 trips in before then.

Does anyone know for certain if the win/loss statement you can get from Total Rewards includes WSOP tournament buy-ins? Just by looking at the numbers on my statement, it seems like they do not.

I'm a diamond member. Does anyone know if you book multiple rooms, do you have to pay resort fees on the extra rooms? When I am trying to book online, at the checkout page, it says resort fees are complimentary but the total clearly has the resort fees added in. So I was wondering if it is something they may waive at checkin/checkout or what not. Thanks!
