YW. I think that realistically that someone who gets DIAD could book 3 trips at every CET city and then have a stable of 30-40 comp trips they can use any time they want, even months/years after comps dry up. I haven't seen it mentioned many places but seems like a pretty nice bonus.

Unfortunately most CET cities are places I don't want to go.

I got a Rio priority parking pass in the mail for being a local diamond. It hangs on the rear view mirror. It doesn't seem to have a number on it and I'll never use it. If some local wants it (that will actually use it more than a few times), PM me your address and I'll drop it in the mail to you.

Was in Vegas staying at Harrah's for a week over Fourth of July and wanted to comment on a few things that have come up in this thread (that I'm too lazy to find and quote). First, there's been discussion that TC, even in pit, show up almost instantaneously. That was close to my experience, except oddly, my last day (July 7) only just showed up. I wasn't paying too close attention, but only just got an email with my TC bonus for July 7, and checked online and had quite a few added (and I had checked the week after I went on the trip). Point being, no, it's not always instantaneous, or close to it.

Second, someone said if you charge food to your room it doesn't count for Quest for Rewards. It does. Only food I purchased was our tab for the cabana pool day, and I got those badges.

Wow, Total Rewards just offered me a free flight and room in Tahoe, and I'm definitely a low roller. I think they had a charter flight that they set up for some whales and had some empty seats left over. Unfortunately I don't want to go to Tahoe unless it's for the Circuit event.

Tahoe is a beautiful place to visit; if you have never been before you might want to reconsider.

Yeah, I was surprised to see it and certainly don't rate such a nice offer. Which is why I'm sure the charter was set up for someone else. It must be a fairly large jet too, because they told me to go to the main terminal, not the executive terminal. Ground transport from the Reno airport to Tahoe included too. If it was a small plane it would just land at the Minden airport.

The lake tahoe take is pretty spicy

Fwiw, if not Mentioned a.c. is tier matching to diamond with a borgata or other north east card. They didn't like the mlife gold card for some reason but borg and parx worked.

If for nothing else th $100 dinner worth the venture over.

I just want to confirm my thinking on the current promo and see if this is easiest way to get at least half way to diamond:
Earn 25 credits at vp or slots for 200 tc bonus, same casino play pai gow $20 hand/approx one hour to be safe for 200 tc bonus, earn property bonus of 200tc.
600tc bonus +50 tc points for play x 4 casinos in a day=2600 pts in one day, 5000 tc bonus for hitting 2500 and I'm already halfway home?
2 days in Vegas gets this done if planned correctly?

You don't get the bonus tier credits for the promo. In fact all of the tier credits you get from the promo will be credited on the same day after the end of the promotion.

I have to book a trip to Vegas for 13 nights. I get decent offers/comped nights using Total Rewards. A couple observations and questions:

1) It is INSANE how TR tries to manipulate the price tables. If you click the back button in your browser, the prices have all gone up by about 20%. Actually it looks they have a 3 step model of adjusting prices during your browser session. The only fix is deleting cookies before each session or starting your browser in incognito modus each time before you want to see prices for a hotel or a flexible date.
I have never seen a website do this as agressive as TR does it

2) I want to reserve a trip to Vegas for 13 nights. I understand the maximum with TR is at 11 nights, with 5 of them being comped.
So here is a problem: I booked 2 nights through booking.com and wanted to do 11 nights at TR split 6/5 nights for 2 different casinos to change it up. However when booking the second hotel, it won´t let me, saying there is already a reservation for the "same period". But it offers me to book using standard rates. Does anyone know a fix for this? Or is there a time frame how many hours/days/weeks have to be between stays to get comped rooms again?

I believe your trips need to be 72 hours apart. In this case they are only 48 hours apart so it's not letting you. Just to help confirm this, try booking the 2nd TR trip 3 days out. In any event, I think this is just an online restriction and you can book what you want by calling.

You can make two comped reservations 48 hours apart, but you will need to do it over the phone. You can't do it online unless they are 72 hours apart.

FWIW, I noted that I played for 25 TC in VP at all 9 CET properties in late June to get an extra 2250TC. As predicted, that netted me nearly nothing in room rate improvement.

However, as I was around 5K in TC, I decided I would try for diamond at the Rio 99.17 BP machine (as AAsuited suggested), in order to obtain good room rates the next several months, a host (free play offers?), diamond for 2018, etc. I played only two days, one garnering ~1k points to get the 1k bonus and another day garnering 2500 TC to get the 5K bonus. I get very little from the 2 top properties (Caesars+Nobu/Cromwell), a bit from Paris, and then quite a lot from the 6 other places. Incidentally, my play has had minimal to no effect on my room rates in AC CET properties, near where I live. I just wanted to document this experience in case it can provide some insight to others.

did u get a host at Rio?

if u wanted free rooms in AC, why didn't you wait till you got back and play in AC?
