I was planning on joining One Medical anyway and you get half off the 150 fee for that.
We usually hit Vegas at least twice a year for at least two nights each stay (already have a trip for 3 nights planned next month) so slight reduction on room rates and eliminate the $25/night (or more) resort fee. There are also additional benefits to Diamond like the lounges, skipping lines, etc.
You theoretically get 15% off your AT&T wireless (obv this only applies if you're already a customer) for me, this should knock off about $13/month
There are a bunch of other discounts for hotels/airlines/etc...what it boils down to is, if you are more than an occasional traveller, an AT&T wireless customer, and hit Vegas a fair amount, it will likely be worth it, but if none or little of those apply, it won't.
Yeah, if you don't travel a lot, or use a few of the bigger discounts it's not really worth it. I travel 9 months of the year or more though, trying to stay in CET properties wherever possible, so this will easily pay for itself for me. I've had it less than a month and have recouped $125 already with the Diamond status and Hotel Tonight benefit. My ATT discount showed up this month, so I can project another $120 for the year there. Also, I redeemed the auto upgrade to Hilton Gold already, which according to thepointsguy.com is worth $751. I don't see any way possible that I will get that much value out of it, but it will definitely be used.
