that's garbage. then you're locked in at 495 forever. i get emails for 295 when paying for 2 years every few weeks and when i asked them to waive the initiation fee they said yes. but before i was going to pay i got diamond anyway.

Couple of questions, if anyone who knows could answer .

The show tickets I get are just regular tickets, I can sell/give them to someone after picking them up and they should have no problem using them?

Is the spa access to only the cardholder, or can I bring a friend (fiance), can I be there to show the card for her to visit the spa if I'm not going myself?

Just got the diamond-upgrade from Founderscard, took about two weeks.

Once you get them, they are just like all other regular tickets. No need to show your ID or Diamond card upon entering the theater or anything. Although I do not know the official policy about selling the tickets, I've given then to friends for free a bunch of times. I know there are several Diamond cardholders who try and sell them on Craigslist (mainly as Penn & Teller tickets) but I'm not sure if CET will take away your Diamond if they catch you selling the free tickets for profit. Do it at your own risk.

The card will get you AND A GUEST access to the Rio, Harrahs, Flamingo, and Bally's spas. You will need to sign in with your guest but then you can just leave and they can go into the spa solo. I've signed in friends and family numerous times and we both sign in but I just walk out instead of going to the spa. The card will get ONLY YOU access to Paris and Planet Hollywood spas. There is a fee to get you into the Caesars spa with the card and I think Linq is the same way. I have no idea if Cromwell has a spa or not. I think they only have a gym.

Remember you also get extra stuff at the buffets as well. Either a free glass of wine (Paris) or they will heat your crab legs (Planet Hollywood). Might be other stuff too.

Great info. I just emailed Linq spa today and was advised 1/2 off of the $30 day pass so $15 each with Himalayan salt cave included. I told them I would have two guests with me and they said they would honor that price for all 3 of us.

They will. Selling comps is against the rules (tickets, rooms, etc), but it's easy to do as long as you're not stupid about it. My 2 local casinos (not CET) actually perform sting operations on people who do that (employee posing as a buyer, etc).

ive never been to a spa before.

im assuming the services in the spa you have to pay.
ie: massages

so what free stuff is there at a spa?

Wife goes quite often, before and after the message you can use sauna, sometimes a weight room, steam room, hot tubs,

they will have water, herbal and regular teas, fruits, maybe some other light snacks

Depends what's important to you. The service at Rio is my favorite. The guys (in the morning at least) are first class. The times I've been to Harrah's there is has NO service what so ever. It was an ordeal to get a locker and some slippers. Flamingo recently redid their steam room and it's big and new. Bally's is always decent service and friendly. They also offer robes which is nice if you prefer that to towels (my friend does.) Planet Hollywood and Paris are run by a 3rd party I believe so they should technically be better. Plus they put a robe in your locker automatically.

All of the places have different vibes too. Some have lots of regulars who set the tone and tend to take over the place at times.

I say just try them out and see what suits your tastes.

So are the massages free at the spas or do you pay for everything extra?

Massages are extra. For free you just get access to the areas like wet and dry saunas, hot tubs, showers, lockers, and water/juices.

As per MY TR every $10 you play on video poker machine you get 1 tire credits. Is $10 play counts for only on how much cash you put in or also counts your play with winnings too ? Any way, with Good pay out $1 machines 9/6 or 10/6 with over 98% to 99% pay back how much you get play in hour with Real $ and recycle winning ?

Thx

Every $10 you spin. How much you put in, win, lose, etc doesn't matter for tc. Exception would be playing comped $ the first spin through those $'s don't count.

There's a huge video poker thread in other gambling games for your other vp questions imo worth checking out.

Just renewed my Founders. Renewal based on when I signed up 2 years ago is $295 per year. Much easier and better than spending the time and $ going from casino to casino trying to qualify.

With the $100 meal voucher you get as Diamond, savings on Resort Fees, diamond lounge and moving to the top of the list at Poker Rooms it's a no brainer.

The deal they offered me back in 2015 was $595 for 2 years plus a $95 registration fee. Then after that it would be $295 per year forever. When I just renewed after the initial 2 years they just charged me the $295 with no other fees.

I have the original e-mail offer they sent me with those details so if you want to PM me your e-mail address I can forward that to you and then you can contact them and ask if they will still honor that. Or you can just contact them and tell them someone you know got that deal and you want to know if they are still honoring it.

Did they offer you a spouse membership at your 2 year anniversary also? That was an unexpected bonus for me this year. I'm also locked in at the $295 per year.

Yeah they offered that. I think you were the one that posted about it on 2+2 back in 2015 and I used your code to sign up.

Okay, so my Quest for Rewards Tier credit bonus finally kicked in today (3500 tier credits from 14 properties) and now I am over 5,000 tier credits which puts me at Platinum, but here is my question. It says that Platinum expires on 1/31/2018. If that's correct then I'm not even Platinum for a year. Is that the way it works when you get to the next level? It automatically expires January 31st of the following year? So, if I were to make it to Platinum let's say in September of this year instead of today, will it also have expired just four months later in January? How does it work? I have never been higher than Gold before. It would seem as if you have to get a higher level early on in the year to reap any benefits of it.

Thanks in advance for any insight as to how this works.

You will have the status until 1/31/2019. It just won't update the end date until next year. This is standard. Example, last year i got diamond around June. My Diamond Expiration Date was listed as 1/31/2017. Once that date hit, it updated and now my end date is listed as 2018 even though I have not earned diamond again this year.

https://totalrewards.custhelp.com/ap.../kw/expiration
The Tier Score you earn from January 1 - December 31, 2016 qualifies you for your Tier Status from the date earned through the remainder of the year (2016), all of the next year (2017) and through January 31 of the following year (2018). For example; if you reach 15,000 Tier Credits in July of 2016, you will remain at Diamond status until January 31, 2018.

Im close to Platinum but would have to start regularly playing at a casino slightly further then my regular one. What incentives do platinum members get? Is it worth the extta drive for me?

Hey guys, I have been reading this thread over the past couple of days as I am getting ready to make my first trip to Vegas (I live in Sydney, Australia).

I love grinding casino promos here, there are two major casino chains in Australia and I am the equivalent of 7 Stars at one and Diamond for the other. I am in Vegas for approx 10 nights and am keen to organise the Diamond card in the first day or two. Because of this I want to be able to sit down and start playing ASAP so am doing some research before hand.

Can anyone help me with the following questions:

1) I see a lot of play recommendations are on Video Poker and that there are about a billion different game types. How different are these? VP isn't massive in Australia and I have never played. I will need to consult the wizard and learn how to play from scratch. Are these games all pretty similar? (I.e is there a basic strategy I can learn that will cover all game types). I don't want to spend a lot of time on game selection considering I don't know what I am looking for so if I can run at >98% on a random machine with basic strategy I would prefer to do that as opposed to learn the exactly correct rules for all games.

2) What about electronic table games (EGM)? They are massive here and I haven't seen too much talk on them. It sounds like you have the same Aruze Craps machine that we do but that doesn't give out TC?
What about Electronic Baccarat, Roulette etc? Do you have these and if so does anyone know what turnover (coin in) you need on these per TC?

3) If I get a Diamond Card does my wife get access to the lounge with me as otherwise I will need to do it twice! I was going to ask about the spas but it seems like she will be able to access those from previous posts.

4) Not a big fan of resort fees (obv) if I book a room now and earn diamond in the first couple of days are they any chance of waiving the the resort fees (or upgrading me to some kind of Nick Papageorgio suite) for the rest of the trip or is that likely to occur the trip after?

5) In relation to upgrades am I best doing all my (non poker) gaming at the hotel I am staying that. Does anyone know if during trip benefits are causal of location?

6) Which CET property should I stay at? I am a life nit so am looking at the cheaper ones (planning to stay at the nicer ones when I am comped! ). Flamingo, Bally and Harrah's seem to be the cheapest. I would sleep on a park bench if it were up to me but the wife is pickier. What is likely to be the cleanest and have the nicest pool and spa?

7) I will be around from approx 28 June to 9 July. If you are around then and like drinking copious amounts of alcohol and eating greasy food whilst playing cards then let me know!

Thanks in advance. Really appreciate all help!

Not really a common strategy for all games - if you're gonna learn one make it jacks or better (paid on a pair of jacks or better). It's pretty simple and you can practice on your phone. Wizard of Odds and vpfree2.com are good references. Also lots of good info here - a regular (Lattimer?) just made a sweet post on payback percentages and all that jazz. Can't find it now though.

Flamingo much better than the other 2 of those, especially the pool. I recommend the Go room over the Fab.

With CET casinos, from my experience, offers and benefits don't differ as long as you use their casinos. MLife is a little different - my offers are more catered to which casinos I was gambling at.

Some electronic machines give TCs and some don't. Number per dollar also varies.
